Costco Flyer & Costco Sale Items for July 6-12, 2020, for BC, AB, SK, MB

Location: Abbotsford, BC Costco Warehouse

Hi Everyone,

I hope everyone is having a great week!  There are so many items in the flyer this week, I decided to separate the items on they flyer (with an expiry date of August 2, 2020 & and a green price tag) and the items that are on sale with an earlier expiry date.  I did notice that they have started some “sample stations,” but they are not allowed to give anything away which means, there are people standing there with the product who can talk to you about their products.  It also looks like the Food Court is starting to return to their full menu – but everything is takeout only.

We’ve put our kids in daycare for a two days a week so we can get some work done.  I’d have to say that it has been nice to work with no interruptions – it has been 4 months without a break from the kids.  For all you Early Access Members, it means that the Monday posts will be published even earlier in the day!  Today, I had to chase down my new computer from Purolator.  My old computer kicked the bucket and it was time for an upgrade.  It just took a while to set up the new computer with all the software I needed for the blog!

That is all I have for now.  Enjoy your week!

I wanted to give everyone an update on the redesign of the blog since there has been quite a lot of progress!  We’ve hired our developer & designer and have started work on the project.  We are starting work on the new product search functionality, so you will be able to look up historical pricing and sales.  After that we will be working on the redesign of the blog.  Our goal is to get everything implemented in three months.  I’m excited that this project is finally moving ahead and to see some increased functionality and navigability in the new format.

That being said, if you are looking to help me help support this new website upgrade, I have re-opened the “FOUNDERS” discount for the Early Access to the blog.  The Early Access gives you access to the Monday posts on Monday afternoon instead of Tuesday Morning at a cost of $19.97 for one year (52 weeks).  You will also have the option of signing up for a new customizable mailing list so you can choose to the updates you want.  If you decide to purchase an Early Access Membership and use the discount code “FOUNDERS” before 2020-08-31, you will get $10 off your annual membership AND have that rate grandfathered forever!

    • Costco is still getting inventory but it likely sells out in the first couple of hours of the day, so you have to go early and on the right day. Phone ahead if you can.

Unless the price has increased due to covid, the usual price for Lysol wipes is $20 for 6 containers of 100 wipes each.

  1. Hey, any idea when the best time to buy a king mattress would be? I’m going to see what they have tomorrow.

  2. If I bought an item last week, and this week, it is on sale, will customer service do a price adjustment if I bring in the receipt?

Someone mentioned the YQR Costco stopped handing out mask for customers to wear. Is that true? How about your local Costco ?

    • YQR Costco is still handing out masks if you want one. The kiosk move inside after you present your membership card.
However, the cart sanitizer person was NOT there last Saturday so it was DIY using sanitizer gel. You can later use a Lysol wipe from the stations in the meat section.

  3. I always shop according to the cocowest flyer. last week i noticed the pepsi product on sale but wasn’t on sale at my store. i shop at the Heritage Costco on Heritage Drive Calgary, Ab.
I see someone else questioned the green tags, does it mention anywhere else in future how long those items are on sale for?

    • Hi Gerri,

Pepsi was on sale two weeks ago. He sale ended on July 1st. If you zoom into the price tag, the expiry date is listed. The green price tags are the flyer items for this month. The sales are all valid until August 2, 2020

  4. Thanks, as always, for the blog. One great deal you missed are Mens Stanfield’s briefs, regularly 22.99 on sale this week for 15.99. Great comfort and Canadian made, win win.

  5. Thanks again for doing such a great job!
Where is the hand sanitizer usually displayed? I can never find it in the pharmacy area.

  6. Forgive me if this has been asked previously, but would you mind clarifying what the green price tags means? Is it a sale item or a soon-to-be discontinued item? Is this something new to Costco? I don’t recollect ever seeing them before.
Thank you and thank you for doing such a wonderful job on keeping us up to date with Shopping at Costco!

  7. Thanks, as always for all your hard work! I always appreciate it! I keep spreading the word about your site to all my friends!

  8. Just an FYI for anybody looking for the Sunny Health Spin Bike in Manitoba or Saskatchewan, they are only in BC and Alberta Costco stores. I tried to purchase one in Manitoba and was told that we would not be getting them at our Costco locations 🙁

  9. Just curious, what’s the price on the Good Host Ice Tea? The price label attached to it is for the vitamin water in the picture below.

  10. Once again good job. I did notice that the turmeric and the collagen signs are reversed for each product but that was maybe a store issue ?

  11. Thank you! Appreciate your service.
Just a quick question. Just wondering what the price is for the ice tea pictured. Thanks again!

    • Twice a year. Buy more. U can always return it if you end up buying too much. I always stock up on current size and next size of my baby. You can always return what uou don’t end up using if your kid outgrows them. I have seen people even return open boxes of diapers =_=”…… you CANNOT exchange for sizes. They will retuen u the sale price then u have to purchase at regular price

      • That’s case when you “return” them. Regardless open or not, Costco is pretty much just destroying it. They aren’t going to put it back on the shelf. Even if it looks unopened.

So please, just buy appx what you think you would need. And don’t go too crazy.

        • I wonder if this is based on store? I asked at the return counter a couple times regarding closed diaper cases and she laughed at me saying “No we definitely put it back on the shelf”

  12. Im just doing some planning here for future diaper purchases. Any idea of the frequency of that sale? Seems like 2 or 3 times per year maybe?
