Hi Everyone!

Huggies Natural Care Baby Wipes are on sale for this week only February 5-11, 2018  – just like the Kirkland Baby Wipes – one week later than predicted!  I know a lot of people have been waiting for this sale (since some people prefer the Huggies).  It seems to happen a couple of times a year.

There are lots of great items this week!  I picked up a huge tub of Bari Ricotta for some lasagna and the Bothwell Smoked Gouda look good so I grabbed some of that.  I don’t think I have ever seen Aunt Jemima Syrup go on sale before, I prefer the Kirkland Maple Syrup, but this seems to be a great deal.  The Kirkland Signature Probiotic 1% Yogurt seems to be a hit in my house.  It seems they are bringing in Campbell’s Organic Vegetable Broth now.  Previously, Costco has stocked the Home Goodness Brand.

Playtex Sport Tampons are on sale as well as the Schick Intuition Women’s Razors.  Finally Mattress Toppers are on sale – If you are interested in one of these, this is a great time to buy.  Mattress Toppers seem to go on sale only once a year.  You can always try it and return it if you are not 100% satisfied.

DIAPERS AND WIPES SALE UPDATE:  For those of you keeping track – If we go by last year:

  1. Kirkland Baby Wipes were on sale from January 23-29,
  2. Huggies Wipes went on sale from January 30 – February 5.
  3. Kirkland Formula (and Kirkland Baby Wipes) went on sale from February 27 – March 5.
  4. Huggies Pull-ups went on sale from February 27 – March 12.
  5. Huggies Diapers went on sale from March 6-12.

This is no means a guarantee of when things go on sale – it is just something to keep in mind when you are planning on purchasing your next set of diapers.

    • Hey there,

We’ve had the tortellini, it’s not bad. I think we did a creamy sauce to go with it. The ones we like the best though, are the Butternut Squach Ravioli. I usually just put a bit of oil & a spoon of pesto, after they are cooked. The packages freeze well & are good for leftovers to.

  1. Thank you so much!
Safeway had a sale on the Nong Shin bowl noodles last week @1 each and I wasn’t sure when it would be on sale at Costco as I’ve missed it for awhile. They were out of stock so I grabbed a rain check. Glad I didn’t grab it! Thank you for saving Me $3/Case

    • Really?!? If it’s so important to you, perhaps you should take on the task. Sheesh. It’s like my dad used to say, “You’d complain if you were hung with new rope.”

  2. For those who are lactose intolerant, February is the annual sale on the Webber Naturals Lactase Enzyme, 120 capsules, 9000 FCC units each.

  3. We love the Queen mattress topper! Hoping to get a King bed soon, looks like I am buying it now while its on sale!! Anybody know when the Huggies or kirkland diapers will be on sale?

  4. We bought the mattress topper about a year ago. We love it! If your bed is showing (and feeling) it’s age, this topper makes it brand new again. A friend also bought the topper and complained of the smell when it was new. I didn’t notice it, but she aired it out and said the smell faded.

  5. Sad that they changed the Huggies wipes to the pre packaged separates. Wished that they still carried the big bulk packages instead. Preferred choosing how many wipes I carried around and the box system.

  6. Has anyone tried the Edamame spaghetti? Wondering what it’s like? Taste like pasta, or tastes like edamame? How is the texture? Curious to try it but don’t want to spend $10on something my family won’t eat!

    • It doesn’t taste like wheat pasta if that’s what you are wanting. It doesn’t have a strong edamane flavor though, once you add sauce and spices you won’t really notice it that much. It tastes good, and is VERY filling because it has so much protein and fiber. It’s worth the money as you can have it as a meal on its own due to its high nutritional value.

    • I liked it with pesto. Tried it instore last week. A nice change from regular pasta but a bit expensive although with the protein in it no need for meat. Also only 3 minutes to cook 🙂 Comes in two bags in the box . Another time I’d only cook half of the half.

  7. Time to make my list. Thanks for doing this every week. I don’t know how you do it but I love your dedication. I clicked on some ads for you.
