Costco West Sales Items for January 8-14, 2018 for BC, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan

Thanks for visiting!  I walk the Whole Costco Warehouse every Monday  take pictures of all the exciting sales items to save YOU time!  Come back every Monday for updates!

At Costco, the start of the new year means that there is a HUGE sale on all the vitamins and supplements.  It also means that the popular Kaisan Protein Powder is on sale.  For those of you with pets, Iams Large Breed Dog food, Cesar Variety Gourmet Dog food, Pedigree Vitality Plus Dog Food, Friskies Canned Cat Food, and Fancy Feast Canned Cat Food are all on sale this week.

The Kirkland Blueberry Lattice Pie is a new product (to me at least) and is tempting me to undo any New Year’s Resolution gains I have made so far.  For $7.99 for 1.850 kg of pie, I had to pick it up.  The Liberte Mediterranean 9% Yogurt is great, but I have been sticking to eating it like a desert after dinner.  I grabbed a bag of Sun Chips because I don’t recall these ever going on sale before at Costco and I used to eat these all the time in my younger years.

Just a reminder to everyone, you can now sign up for Loblaw’s $25 gift card that they are giving out to adults 18+ who have purchased bread at a participating store between 2002 and 2015.  To find out more about the class action lawsuit go here:  https://cocowest.ca/free-25-loblaw-card/ 

According to the terms of the deal, signing up for the gift card does not disqualify you from claiming a settlement from one of the many class action lawsuits, however any settlement will be adjusted for the $25 gift card.

Also, if you are a Costco Executive Member, you should have received the Costco Executive Coupons enclosed in the package with the Costco Connections Magazine.  These coupons are only for Executive Members and the physical coupon must be brought to the store to be redeemed.  Have a look at the coupons here! 

If you have not received the coupons and you are an Executive Member, you may have to update your mailing address as well as opt-in for their mailing list.  You can always ask at the membership desk for some extra coupons.  They seem to have a hidden stash behind the desk.

DIAPERS AND WIPES SALE UPDATE:  For those of you keeping track – If we go by last year:

1. Kirkland Baby Wipes were on sale from January 23-29,
2. Huggies Wipes went on sale from January 30 – February 5.
3. Kirkland Formula (and Kirkland Baby Wipes) went on sale from February 27 – March 5.
4. Huggies Pull-ups went on sale from February 27 – March 12.
5. Huggies Diapers went on sale from March 6-12.

This is no means a guarantee of when things go on sale – it is just something to keep in mind when you are planning on purchasing your next set of diapers.

*** One thing to keep in mind when reading this blog is that sales items in the meat and produce section are store dependent – the manager sets the sales for these items. For that reason, the chicken sales that you see this week (and last) may not be available at your store. Also, any items on the blog that end in ‘.97’ means the item is on a clearance. These ‘.97’ items are also store dependent. If you are interested in one of these products you can check with customer service to see if any of the items is available at a nearby store! If you purchased the product previously and it has gone on sale, if you bring in the original receipt and you have purchased the product withing 30 days (or longer, depending on the employee), Costco will refund you the difference!

Use these posts to make the best use of your Costco Card! I have done all the hard work for you and have a weekly listings of all the Costco Sales Items and flyers. Costco does not publish these Costco sales items; the only way to find out what is on sale is to walk the whole store! Come back every Monday to find out what is on sale for the week. The sales may vary slightly by store, but are generally pretty consistent between Western Canada. If there is something you really want, please make sure to double check the expiry date as some of the Costco sales items have been known to end mid-week.
