Also, there was brand new Costco location that opened up in Bellingham Washington, USA over the weekend. If you want to see all the sale items (and there are a lot of them) visit the following pages. Most of these sales are good until November 27, 2016.
BELLINGHAM, WA – Aisle 1 – Household Goods
BELLINGHAM, WA – Aisle 2- Food
BELLINGHAM, WA – Aisle 3- Seasonal & Clothes
Hi Everyone! Sorry for the late post. Has anyone else got that cough that just won’t go away after weeks and weeks? Anyways, I had to get someone else to take pictures this week as I did not have the energy to do it this week. 🙁 There are no handout coupons this week – the same thing happened two weeks before and after Black Friday last year! Fortunately, there are still lots of sale items that are unadvertised! Just so everyone is aware, Costco started its holiday hours last week – which means it stays open an extra hour on the weekend! It stays open until 7:00PM on Saturdays and 6:00PM on Sundays! http://www.costco.ca/hours-and-holiday-closures.html
This week it was the SanDisk 32GB SDHC Extreme Water & Weather Proof memory cards that caught my eye. Also the Collier’s Welsh Cheddar is a pretty good cheese especially with the discount. The Collier’s Welsh Cheddar, the Boursin and the Charcuterie Plate would make a nice appetizer.
I think the Kirkland Dishwasher Pacs (Dishwasher Pods) are a new item – or at least I haven’t seen them before. I can personally eat the Poppies Mini Cream Puffs straight out of the freezer.
After Eight Mints and Icy Squares are on sale if you want to be that person whose desk everyone goes to to steal chocolates from. Also Kinder Surprise Eggs, Dentyne Gum Variety Pack, Excel Gum Variety Pack, and Mint Mentos are all on sale
Sorry about the post last week – some of you didn’t see the pictures for a while. It should be all corrected for future posts 🙂 Thanks for your patience everyone!
Happy Shopping!
If you are interested in seeing what is on sale in US Costco (the sales last for the month) CLICK HERE!!
One thing to keep in mind when reading this blog is that sales items in the meat and produce section are store dependent – the manager sets the sales for these items. For that reason, the chicken sales that you see this week (and last) may not be available at your store. Also, any items on the blog that end in ‘.97’ means the item is on a clearance. These ‘.97’ items are also store dependent. If you are interested in one of these products you can check with customer service to see if any of the items is available at a nearby store! If you purchased the product previously and it has gone on sale, if you bring in t
he original receipt and you have purchased the product withing 30 days (or longer, depending on the employee), Costco will refund you the difference!
Happy Shopping!
Check out my post about Five ways to Save Money at Costco!!!
Use these posts to make the best use of your Costco Card! I have done all the hard work for you and have a weekly listings of all the Costco Sales Items and flyers. Costco does not publish these Costco sales items; the only way to find out what is on sale is to walk the whole store! Come back every Monday to find out what is on sale for the week. The sales may vary slightly by store, but are generally pretty consistent between Western Canada. If there is something you really want, please make sure to double check the expiry date as some of the Costco sales items have been known to end mid-week.
If this blog has helped you save money or has provided you with some entertainment, consider sharing cocowest.com with your friends and family! thank you again for all your hard work, like the others I look forward to your post every week! I’ve clicked on a few ads every time I visit =)
You sound like a lot of fun to be around.
Hey Jeanette!
Go build a wall like Trump and you’re so sad you make Costco sized onions cry!
Let’s make Costco great again!
The American Girl Accessories set was not on sale at the Costco I went to today in Calgary. 🙁
Thank you for all your efforts every week. Hope you feel better.
I meant to say it wasn’t listed as $14.97 like your picture, it’s $19.99.
The hit and miss issue of items priced at ” $xx.97 ” is covered in the notes at the top of the page.
It was on clearance sale at the Ikea Costco today and the Stony trial/Sarcee Costco yesterday.
The Kirkland dishwasher pods have been around for a while now, I’m on my second or third case. They seem to work just fine and they’re really cheap. Also they don’t leave an overpowering smell when the dishwasher is done.
The Kirkland clothes washer pods also work very well.
At the very least get the Kirkland dryer sheets, those are a fantastic value @ ~$9 usually for 500! It’s ~$5 for 50 Bounce sheets at Walmart! Although I do find the Kirkland ones don’t work quite as well.
Thank you – I was going to ask about the diswasher packs.
Get over it
Thank you so much for always keeping us up to date!! I’ve been waiting for that PB2 to price drop as I’m curious to try it and yes also interested in the Kirkland’s dw pacs. As for the Bellingham Costco, please keep on including that as I really appreciate the info! Yes to all of you who advocate a USD Visa and account, I just got one myself.
I was at Costco in Saskatoon (south) last night and Tide regular powder was $22.99! Usually the sale price is around $25
Powdered Peanut Butter? Anyone try this before?
Haven’t but I’ve seen it called for in a few recipes lately. Will be following to see replies to your ?
I love the PB2! I don’t rehydrate it and use it as peanut butter on toast in the traditional sense, but rather I add it to smoothies or oatmeal in powdered form. It adds good flavour and protein with less fat.
Thank you for the in time post, very helpful.
Thanks for your post!
A second Costco has recently opened in Saskatoon. The new store seems roomier but the hot dog stand is less efficient than the old store.
Thanks again for your hard work with getting us all this information.
Has anyone tried the powdered peanut butter? I think it would work well in smoothies, but how about the good old peanut butter and jelly sandwiches?
The regular Cold FX is on sale in the Edmonton stores.
My husband and myself look forward to seeing your post every week, you truly go out of your way to help not only save money but time. Thank you for all your continuous posts. I will continue to share your post with anyone I know. My family loves d hearing about it and they are all hooked!!
Hi,
Thank you once again for your hard work.
This week alot of good deals
Thnks aim for this, it’s so helpful
Hmm… Trying to be constructive here. You can always Google the exchange rate. For example, search for “80 usd in cad” will show you today’s rate. Works with other currencies too. Just select the currency from the drop down list, or type in its abbreviation if you know it.
As for credit card, search for “visa foreign exchange calculator”. It will return visa USA’s calculator tool. The published exchange rates by visa affects Canadian visa as well. And the tool also allow you to factor in your bank’s foreign currency exchange fees, typically around 0 to 3%. (FYI, I use either TD’s USD visa, or amazon.ca’s, which has no foreign currency transaction fee, when I travel in the US.)
Greatly appreciated. Be well soon! Looking forward to your posts every Monday!
Another week without a Costco handout. Your posts are so much more complete, interesting and beneficial that they might just as well pay you to post their products. I for one, always read your post before going anyways. Thank you for doing the heavy lifting. Much appreciated.
Thanks for the post as always! The Kirkland dishwasher tabs aren’t new, been buying them a couple years now, but the packaging was changed in the last few months. Was it on sale? The price in the picture is for Dawn detergent.
Thank you so much. I love this blog and can’t wait for Monday. Get better soon, Christmas is coming. I bet if you are sick, none of us would be upset if you just stayed home and got well. Your health is more important than making our lives easier, be well.
Has anyone tried the lasagne noodle dry mix soup? Is it any good?
It’s good, but a little over – powering if made per the instructions. It was much better when I added some sautéed diced onions and zucchini, as well as a little extra liquid – probably an additional cup of water, chicken stock or Clamato (yes, Clamato). Think of the soup as a starting point and get creative.
Super helpful,
Thanks!
Anyone tried the Belgian butter biscuit? Is it good? Thanks
Last year I had a box. Yummy thin biscuits! I will buy again.
It’s good! Thin, buttery and crispy. My favorite is the butter waffles! It’s the same brand found in grocery stores in Brussels, Belgium. I was so happy to find it in Canada. I’ll be stocking up on a few boxes.
Thanks for the replies.. :). Okay might as well buy some. Will be good for Christmas gift as well.
A big thank you. ?⚓?
The Kirkland dishwasher soap is advertised with the dawn dish soap sign.
You’re promoting Costco Bellingham is becoming quite annoying. There is almost a 40% premium exchange rate now for buying anything in the USA. Just several months ago you could still save some money filling up in the states, not any more. Perhaps you should provide links to Royal Bank and other chartered banks that actually show how much it costs to buy 1 US dollar instead of trying to get people to shop on Bellingham. Besides, the new location will cause major traffic snarl on an already congested road.
lol at Jeanette.. sounds like you got sand stuck somewhere
Thanks as always. Your work is much appreciated
Maybe you should unfollow then? I agree that with our dollar it isn’t worth it to go down to the US but that is an individual choice. Perhaps there are people on here from the US that subscribe to these emails? Either way I find the posts helpful and someone is taking time out of their day to provide this information for free. Maybe next time you could phrase your comment a little bit more positively?
Jeanette,
Please keep in mind that this person is doing us all a big favour by doing this blog and posting pictures. I sure appreciate their efforts.
Your comments sound a bit harsh…
Just sayin’,
Kim
Agreed.
Agreed too Kimberlee! Must thanks for all the efforts and posts by our host! I await these every Monday before heading out! Please keep up the great work… Most of us are truly grateful!
hey Jeanette…you are just sooooo unappreciative! how about you start a new blog then and go to Costco every week if you dont like it.
I SURE APPRECIATE ALL THE EFFORT. I LOOK FORWARD TO THIS EVERY WEEK…..AND IT SAVES ME TONS OF TIME IN THE STORE.
P.S. i will click on an ad or two when I’m here. Least I can do. Thank again
We have a US$ credit card and a US$ bank account with money we put in there when the exchange rate was around $1.15. Anything we buy from the US, even today, is essentially purchased at the $1.15 exchange rate though, of course, it’s still the current rate for any applicable duty, GST or PST.
Do your math Jeanette, it’s not really 40% premium, even if it were, some stuff are still cheap. You WILL still save money filling up in the states. It’s $2.10US per gallon, which is like $0.56US/L, even with a 40% premium you mentioned, it’s still just $0.78/L, we are still well above $1/L in the lower mainland.
Jewnette, you don’t have to look at ANYTHING on this blog.. Don’t be so unappreciative, and if you really dislike it that much don’t let the door hit you on your way out!
Your logic is ridiculous.
The only thing annoying here is Jeanette’s post.
Grown ups can decide for themselves if they want to pay the exchange — this site is simply providing information, which I sure appreciate.
Thank you so much for doing this — I look forward to this blog every week, and always make sure to click a few ads.
Thanks a million!
Also the orange tide is posted with the wrong sign I noticed.
Hi! #377105 dawn dish soap 3 pack… The sign is posted twice on here. The second time, it’s posted with the Kirkland dishwasher packs, which is the wrong sign and they are not on sale this week as far as I know. Just FYI 🙂
Hey, I truly appreciate this blog! I just wanted to point out a mistake I found. On the Kirkland dishwasher tabs.. it has a price sticker for Dawn dishwashing liquid. Are the tabs on sale also?
I look forward to this post every single week and now won’t go to Costco until I’ve seen it!! Thank you so much 🙂 Feel better
Well done and thank’s
I clicked on a couple of ads for you. So incredibly helpful – thanks.
