Calling all coconut fans! Costco Innofoods Coconut Clusters are made for you.
I have decided that the Costco snack and chocolate aisles are strategically at the front of the store for two reasons, A) so you can pick up delicious looking treats that you would usually pass by while you’re waiting in the typical Costco checkout line and B) so you can easily return that same treat you picked up to the shelf when you have had enough time to tell yourself you already have 10lbs of chocolate covered everything at home. Have you ever had those items at Costco that you consider buying every time because they look so good but never actually purchase? Maybe you even put it in your cart and then quickly put it back without purchasing after you’ve decided you “really don’t need it”.
I swear I have been wanting to buy the Coconut Clusters by Inno Foods from Costco for at least six months. I often have been standing there, unsure, staring up at them while my husband is already busy at the checkout. When I was making my regular weekly visit to Costco West and saw that they were on sale, I decided it was time. Now I have finally tried them.
I purchased them from Costco on sale for $7.89. Regular price is $9.89. These are basically, sweet, crunchy delicious clusters of coconutty goodness. If you do not like coconut you may not like the taste. I am a chocolate lover and if given the choice I actually may pick these over chocolate. The list of ingredients is short which is always a good thing, organic toasted coconut, healthy organic chia, pumpkin and sunflower seeds along with brown rice syrup and cane sugar to sweeten them up. If you eat organic, you’re in luck with these as each ingredient is organic. The coconut tastes nicely toasted and the seeds give the clusters a slightly nutty flavour. They also have a major crunch factor going on, almost like a dry crunchy cookie, which makes them a perfect snack.
The Coconut Clusters are addictive and slightly calorie dense. Each 20 gram serving is 110 calories and contains 9 grams of fat. The problem with them being addictive is that a 20 gram serving is not much; you feel like you could easily eat half the bag in one sitting! To help visualize one serving, I measured out 20 grams on my scale at home and honestly, I could eat six times this amount easily (but I didn’t). I have to point out a positive is that each serving contains only 4 grams of sugar, which is way less than other treats I have had from Costco such as the Dark Chocolate Covered Mangoes.
I would definitely repurchase these. The clusters could be sprinkled on yogurt or ice cream and would make a perfect snack while road tripping, watching a movie, camping or shared at a potluck or barbecue. Due to the fact that these contain organic seeds, they easily are marketed as healthy but I think moderation is key in enjoying these. But believe me, if you like coconut, you WILL love them.
Nutrition: 4/10 (for sure they have healthy organic ingredients, but I would approach these as more of an indulgence)
Taste: 10/10 (these really are delicious)
Convenience: 10/10 (just open the bag and find yourself in coconut bliss)
Cost: 7/10 (reasonable when purchased on sale, might be considered slightly expensive when not on sale)
What’s your favourite crunchy snack? When it comes to coconut, yay or nay? Have you tried these, if so did you like them?

These are my favourite sweet treat at Costco for sure!
I won’t be trying these as I don’t like coconut. My go-to ‘healthy’ treat is Bark Thins. Fair trade, non-GMO dark chocolate with pumpkin seeds & sea salt. Price is under $10 for a big bag, which is amazing for the amount of chocolate in them. http://barkthins.com/products/dc-pumpkin/
Love them!
These sound so yummy! I always see them in the store and am tempted to buy them, so now I for sure will. Thanks for the post!
You should try their “Almond Nuggets in Dark Chocolate” – in my opinion, they’re even better!
They’re pretty much the same concept but with almonds and dark chocolate instead. Not sure if they’re still around though because last season was the first time I saw them.
Love them! They are a great Keto treat!
Throw the crumbs at the end of the bag on a salad – it’s delicious
Was this a paid review!

Hi Jeremy! I wrote the review. I’m a Costco fan food review blogger and genuinely enjoy these coconut clusters. There’s also some products I don’t enjoy as much as I’m very honest about them. You can see my other reviews on my blog.
This review doesn’t sound like a paid review…and I am pretty good at filtering them out 🙂
Even if it was a paid review eg. Yelp (especially the Elite), TripAdvisor, Google . The reviewer will never admit to it being paid for it. Additionally, bots are now becoming the norm when it comes to reviews..
I bought these coconut clusters a couple of weeks ago. They are FANTASTIC! Only issue, large size clusters on top, but at least a 1/2 bag of just crumbles was most of the bag. Yes, I’d buy them again.
Deb I completely agree! I love the large clusters and just use the crumbles to sprinkle on top of plain yogurt or ice cream 🙂
Throw those crumbs on your salad!!
I also waited for these to be on sale. I absolutely love them. And most likely be buying them again.
Jacqueline, I love them too, hoping they go on sale shortly so I can restock!
Oh yes I love these! I even sprinkle it in my yogurt! It’s a great and healthy topping and snack!
It’s so good on yogurt to sweeten it up and add a bit of a crunch!
Because of your recommendation, I’m going to get them for my Mom. She loves coconut and she can use the calories! She lives in an assisted living facility and enjoys the meals but loves the little treats I bring as well, so this is something I’m going to pick up next time I’m in Costco. I’ve often looked at it but didn’t know how it would be since it wasn’t covered in chocolate (her other big love)! Thanks for your review!
Hi Sharon! My grandma is in her late 90’s and enjoyed these when I brought her a small bag. They serve dinner at 4:30 where she lives so she’s always needing a snack before bed. Let me know if your mom enjoys these!
They are very good. Even the crumbs at the bottom.
Yes! The crumbs are great on ice cream, yogurt, oatmeal, on top of smoothie bowls, I could go on and on.
For me, coconut has to have chocolate or rum. The only exception is coconut cream pie.
Julie, I also adore coconut cream pie. If you’re ever in Edmonton, check out the Duchess Bake Shop. Their coconut cream pie is amazingly good!
