Last week on the blog I reviewed the Costco Kirkland Signature Salsa Verde Enchiladas, Costco Kirkland Signature Gyro Kit and the Costco Kirkland Signature White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies.

I absolutely love passionfruit anything and any time I see a food with passionfruit in it I’m sure to pick it up, that’s why I wanted to try these papaya passionfruit almond thin cookies.
The box comes with 30 packs cookies and each pack has three thin, long cookies. That’s a total of 90 cookies in the box and I paid $8.99 for the cookies on sale, the regular price of the cookies is $11.99.
As I mentioned there are individually wrapped packs of three cookies so these are easy to share with others, pop in your lunch bag, purse or glove compartment or bring camping or on a road trip. The best before date listed on the cookies is eight months from when I purchased the cookies. They go well with coffee or tea and are a nice light afternoon snack if you’re craving something sweet.
One pack of cookies contains 100 calories, 2.5 grams of fat, 15 grams of carbohydrates, one gram of fibre, eight grams of sugar, three grams of protein and 60 milligrams of sodium. They’re definitely a low calorie cookie and the ingredients list is short and sweet without a bunch of added chemicals/additives.
These aren’t fancy but they’re enjoyable. The cookies are nice and crunchy and have a nice fruity flavor from the passionfruit puree and papaya chunks. The dried papaya and slivered almonds add a bit of extra chewiness and crunch. You don’t really taste the almonds though, they mainly just add the extra crunch. I’m glad that both the passionfruit and papaya flavors are noticeable because that’s what I was hoping for! They’re not too sweet so if heavy, sugary cookies aren’t your thing you might enjoy these.
