I was shopping for Superbowl weekend snacks and picked up this Reese’s Popcorn that I’ve been curious about! The 481 gram bag costs $11.99 Canadian which isn’t cheap for a bag of popcorn!
The bag doesn’t reseal which is a bit disappointing. I used a clothing pin to seal mine after opening it. The best before date is about four months from when I purchased it. This is perfect as a sweet snack to have with a movie at home or put out for a party.
Just under two cups of popcorn has 240 calories, 11 grams of fat, 32 grams of carbohydrates, four grams of fibre, 19 grams of sugar, three grams of protein and 125 milligrams of sodium. Definitely not healthy and I tried to ignore the ingredients list when I tried this.
This is quite hard to stop eating once you start! If you like salty, sweet, crunchy popcorn you’ll probably really love this. Just try to ignore the ingredients haha. There’s a nice chocolate drizzle on the popcorn that some pieces have a lot of and other pieces don’t have much of. I don’t notice a ton of peanut butter flavor which surprised me, just a hint of it that lingers after you take a bite. The popcorn tastes fresh and is nice and crunchy.
