Last week on the blog I reviewed the Costco Pisti Spreadable Almond Cream, Costco Boba Bam Instant Boba Pack, Costco Kirkland Signature Raspberry Cheesecake.

We were having ribs last weekend and I saw these Smokin’ Joe’s BBQ Brisket Burnt Ends and decided to pick them up to go with the ribs.
The 650-gram box costs $15.49 Canadian and comes with one vacuum-sealed bag of burnt ends and one bag of sauce.
The ends are already fully cooked and there are instructions on the box to either broil or use an air fryer to heat the ends. We used our air fryer. The ends need to be refrigerated, and the best-before date is about six weeks from when we purchased them. You can serve the burnt ends in a bun or another idea is to have them on their own with some coleslaw and baked beans on the side.
In a 3/4 cup serving, there are 370 calories, 24 grams of fat, 19 grams of carbohydrates, one gram of fibre, 13 grams of sugar, 20 grams of protein and 1000 milligrams of sodium. That’s a TON of sodium! If you’re watching your sodium intake you may just want to steer clear of these. These brisket ends are gluten and dairy free and contain soy and mustard.
I tried these tonight. Awful. Like chewing on a tire.
These were terrible! The meat is almost all grissol and chewy, nothing like what I was expecting at the Costco price of $15.49.
I got frustrated for sure and have only had 1 time before and they were ok but will never experience another try. The company that makes these will be hearing from me & so will Costco!
Taste was ok but the texture was disgusting. I rarely return stuff to Costco but I’m seriously considering this one….
Tried this one time… I could not tell that it was even beef let alone brisket. Taste and texture was more ham or really bad pastrami, but less beefy…
I feel the same as you. I broiled them and 80% were tough, fatty and inedible. We threw them out and I wouldn’t buy again.
