Location: Bellingham, Washington
Hi Everyone!
I hope you all having a great week. I actually took these photos last month, but it has just been too busy to find time to get to posting. If you are wondering if it is worth heading over to Costco in Bellingham, make sure to take a look at this post before you head down.
I tried to focus on items that we can’t get in the Lower Mainland. I found that after the exchange rate, you might be paying more for some identical items by buying in the US. The real deals are items that you can’t get in Canada. Chicken & Dairy will always be good deals but remember you are technically limited to $20 in dairy items per person (although, I’ve never been asked about this) I usually come back with $300-$400 worth of groceries on my way back and have never had a problem coming back without paying any extra duties or taxes.
I’ll have the post with non-food items available later this week!
Happy Shopping!
Costco Bellingham is no longer a bargain. Very expensive and the Washington State tax is on most (food) items including bottled water. The only advantage of shopping there is buying things we don’t have back home.
The prices don’t seem worthwhile to make the trip there, but they have some interesting items like the chinese BBQ pork!
When we lived in Vancouver I used to love to go to Costco in Bellingham but these prices would put a quick stop to that. 🙁
