Costco West Sales Items for Jan 23-29 for BC, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan
It never stops. The baby is sick again, this time with a fever so she had to stay home from daycare. She was only well for about a week before she got sick again! On the bright side, Kirkland Baby Wipes are on sale and we were running low from the last sale. Both Cretor’s Chicago Mix Popcorn and Munches are on sale – not good if you are trying to lose holiday weight. FeedSaver Vacuum Sealing Systems and Foodsaver Bags are both on sale. Intuit Turbotax Standard Edition (8 Returns) is on sale – I used this program last year to do my taxes and it was fairly simple – the program guides you through all the necessary questions. Kellogg’s Rice Crispies Squares are on sale – YUM. There are lots more items on for sale, but I’m tired.

*** One thing to keep in mind when reading this blog is that sales items in the meat and produce section are store dependent – the manager sets the sales for these items. For that reason, the chicken sales that you see this week (and last) may not be available at your store. Also, any items on the blog that end in ‘.97’ means the item is on a clearance. These ‘.97’ items are also store dependent. If you are interested in one of these products you can check with customer service to see if any of the items is available at a nearby store! If you purchased the product previously and it has gone on sale, if you bring in the original receipt and you have purchased the product withing 30 days (or longer, depending on the employee), Costco will refund you the difference!
Use these posts to make the best use of your Costco Card! I have done all the hard work for you and have a weekly listings of all the Costco Sales Items and flyers. Costco does not publish these Costco sales items; the only way to find out what is on sale is to walk the whole store! Come back every Monday to find out what is on sale for the week. The sales may vary slightly by store, but are generally pretty consistent between Western Canada. If there is something you really want, please make sure to double check the expiry date as some of the Costco sales items have been known to end mid-week.

I grew up on that stuff and I love it. However it’s a great deal oilier than other kinds of canned salmon so something to keep in mind. I definitely stocked up though!

Hi Sara, Costco will do a price adjustment as long as the item is still on sale and in stock. You will need to bring in the original receipt to get the refund. You do not have to bring in the product.
Take the item # from the picture and call your local Costco to ask them if they carry it in store and you can ask which locations do or do not. They can pull up all locations on their computer and even tell you the quantity at each location. Save yourself some gas from driving around! You’re welcome!
Thank you! On the note of TurboTax, I’ve noticed the $3 discount and picked up a copy from Burnaby Still Creek on Sunday. The item # to be the same as the one you posted, but I paid only $21.89 + tax. I wonder if they’ve just done a price adjustment on this… (for comparison, Best Buy is also discounting it by $3, but their sale price is $26.99 after discount).
And while on the subject of tax software, there’s StudioTax. It’s free. Or more accurately, by donation if you think it’s worth it. Pretty good for simple returns as long as you’re aware of all your eligible deductions, and know what forms you need to file. My wife does our returns, and she prefers TurboTax because it’s easier to navigate.
