UPDATE: West Costco Sales Items for Sept 19-25, for BC, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan

So I posted the coupon deals this morning because I saw that Diaper Genies and Protein Powder were on sale.  I know these are popular items, so I wanted to make sure that anyone heading over there on Monday can include it in their planning.

There are TONS of things on for sale that I really wanted to pick up this week.  For those of you with a Keurig, there are a few boxes of K-Cups on sale.  I picked up some Terra Delyssa Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil because it is great quality.  Schuck Intuition, Edge Razors and Diaper Genie Refills are on sale.  There are quite a few sliced deli Meats for sale in case you are thinking of having sandwiches!  The Citterio Panini! Sliced Assorted Meats, Citterio Italian Cooked Ham,  and Lilydale Sliced Turkey Breast are on sale; the 44th street Beef Pot Roast is on sale – I usually get one and throw one in the freezer for easy meals.

Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Canada Dry Ginger Ale, SunRype Apple Juice, and Kirkland Signature Grape Juice are on sale this week.

Bounty Plus Paper Towels, Kleenex Tissues Paper and Lysol Disinfecting Wipes are all on sale.

Continuing from last week, Pedigree Vitality Dog Food and Whiskas Cat Food are on sale.

Poppers Stuffed Jalepenos are on sale along with KozyShack Rice Pudding (Some guilty pleasures).

Aylmer’s Whole and Diced Tomatoes are on sale again along with Stoned Wheat Thins and Chef Boyardee Mini Ravioli.  I picked up a package of Sunbrown Australian Brown Rice as this does not go on sale very often,

Well, for some reason I’m up early so I thought I would post a preview of the deals this week.  Costco is not open yet, but they have published their deals already.  The two things that stood out to me were the Playtex Diaper Genie Refills and MusclePharm Cookies ‘N’ Cream Protein Powder.   I haven’t seen Diaper Genie Refills on sale for at least a year!  The Protein Powder is a bi-annual sale (2X per year).

Huggies Diapers are on sale, but only until September 22.  Make sure you grab them if you are running low.  The next sale will probably not be for quite a while!

One thing to keep in mind when reading this blog is that sales items in the meat and produce section are store dependent – the manager sets the sales for these items.  For that reason, the chicken sales that you see this week (and last) may not be available at your store.  Also, any items on the blog that end in ‘.97’ means the item is on a clearance.  These ‘.97’ items are also store dependent.  If you are interested in one of these products you can check with customer service to see if any of the items is available at a nearby store!  If you purchased the product previously and it has gone on sale, if you bring in the original receipt and you have purchased the product withing 30 days (or longer, depending on the employee), Costco will refund you the difference!

Happy Shopping!

The sales may vary slightly by store, but are generally pretty consistent between Western Canada. 1. Buy some of the reuseable cups and use the coffee of your choice. Cheaper and better. Thirty odd bucks for a few hundred grams of coffee is daylight robbery.

    • I used to buy the K-cups for years and went thru the hassle of taking the little buggers apart to recycle the foil, plastic and compost the inside filter and grounds. I finally bought a reuseable insert and I alternate between buying the McCafe and the Tim Hortons bins. One on their biggest tins costs $16-18 and they last me 6 months!! (one coffee a day)

  2. Hey does anyone buy their cat litter at Costco? I recently switched back to clumping clay litter from wood pellets (roughly $5/40lb) because I bought the litter robot and I’m trying to find the most cost effective litter. So far I’ve gotten no name at superstore 7.26/20kg bag.

    • Yes we have been buying their litter for years, back when it was a box and now its a plastic jug. It’s 9.99 and never goes on sale.

  3. It’s over a 2 hour drive (return) to go to Costco , so thanks to you I only go when I really need to. …so I’m off for there today.

  4. Wow… lots of sale items this week. Thanks again for taking the time to take all the pictures and keep us all updated. Clicked on an ad or two for you 🙂

  5. thanks for this week’s finds. also if anyone hasn’t tried the new cooked wings from the food court, it’s good but not great. they are 6.99 for individual and 19.99 for a bucket. they weigh it. for the bucket, you can get about 30-36 wings maybe. I didn’t find that it is seasoned. they offer you sauces for it though. I much prefer the uncooked seasoned chicken wings that you can buy for about the same price. you have to cook it yourself but it is definitely more tastier.

  6. Many thanks, next week when you ate there, can you keep an eye out for appliances, sometimes there are great deals, like stand up freezers

  7. Thanks for the post Tynan!

Are there supposed to be ad banners visible on your blog at it’s new address? When your blog was at its previous address there would be several ads that I would always click on to support you. But I don’t see ads on your new site. I have my ad-blocker disabled for your site, but I do have some other script-blocking things running and I’m wondering if they might be suppressing something. Please let me know if I should be seeing ads or not, because if there are ads then I’d like to see them so I can click on them to support your much-appreciated efforts.

    Thanks!

  8. My Favorite Monday Website! Thanks a Lot. Just so you know I disabled Adblocker on just for you. I also click on some ads every week to support the great work you are doing. I encourage everyone to do the same.
