Hi Everybody!
It looks like Costco has been affected by the flour recall as they have posted two recalls in their site within the past couple of days. I can’t remember which brand of flour Costco sells, so I am posting all the information here! Please take back any unused portion to your Costco store for a full refund – they still have a satisfaction guarantee!
If you think you became sick from consuming a recalled product, call your doctor.
Check to see if you have recalled products in your home. Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased.
Food contaminated with E. coli O121 may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Symptoms can include nausea, vomiting, mild to severe abdominal cramps and watery to bloody diarrhea. In severe cases of illness, some people may have seizures or strokes, need blood transfusions and kidney dialysis or live with permanent kidney damage. In severe cases of illness, people may die.
There have been reported illnesses associated with flour; however, at this time, there have been no confirmed illnesses associated with the products identified in this Food Recall Warning.
This recall was triggered by findings by the CFIA during its investigation into a foodborne illness outbreak. The CFIA is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products. If other high-risk products are recalled, the CFIA will notify the public through updated Food Recall Warnings.
The CFIA is verifying that industry is removing recalled products from the marketplace.

Just FYI… The largest (huge) bags of flour available in Costco are made by Rogers. Those are not part of the recall. http://www.rogersfoods.com/public-service-announcement/
The product recall by major Whole sale store based on report of Canadian Food agencies shows the commitment of Food Operators towards consumers health. The story is reverse in India where no product call has been made after 2015 in Maggi case. It seems that the products produced in India is safest in the world or vice versa that no check is conducted for Indian products in India.
Costco in Alberta sells Ellison’s Best milled in Lethbridge, Alberta. It’s not currently part of any recall. A picture of the bag can be found here (feel free to add it to your post) http://picpaste.com/IMG_4043-0Vz0zoHi.JPG
