Costco West Sale Items for Oct 09 – Oct 14, 2018 for BC, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan

A quick update from Tynan:

Many thanks to my brother for continuing to help out while I recover.

The deal of the week this week is Whole Fresh Turkeys as they are all on sale ($15.00 off)!  Kleenex, Vector Cereal, Tostitos Medium Salsa, Kirkland Basil Pesto are also some things on sale I picked up.

Apparently they have stopped highlighting all of the in store sale items at many Costcos.  You can leave a feedback note for management to highlight the in store sale items for easier viewing – if you leave a phone number, they should follow up.  If your store never highlights the in store sale items it would be a good suggestion for management at your local store!

Get some early Christmas shopping done!  Click here to see the seasonal Christmas items for sale.  Almost 3 full aisles!

Happy Shopping!

  1. I have been advised that Costco will no longer carry any candy (outside of seasonal) or gum except ofr the Trident combo packs), which is all our Costco has left. Also no more Tree Top Fruit Gummies. This is in langford, BC

  2. I’m disappointed in your provider of ads on your newsletter. It’s been well publicized that Marilyn Denis has been the victim of a despicable spam campaign saying she’s leaving her CTV show and starting a company selling moisturizer. NOT TRUE. She’s worked very hard to tell everyone online to ignore these ads. Your ad provider is continuing to run these ads and they should stop. I tried to report the ad to them and their forms ask for too much info from me, including what website it takes me to after I click. I’m not going to click on an ad i know is fraudulent and therefore it isn’t reported. I’m telling you so you can complain, as a customer of “Adchoices” you have more sway than I do.

  3. This is the second week I have not received your email notices and when I tried to resubscribe it says I am subscribed already.

  4. i hate they re arranging the items in the richmond store. couldn‘t find the hot chocolate mix last week, hope to find it this week.

  5. Just a FYI dawn dish soap is not price as shown that is the wrong tag over the item….
Thanks for your continued irk I look forward to this email every time.

  6. I appreciated your comments on Sweet Potato Mash. I had never heard of this before, so I was going to try it until I read everyone’s comments. I I googled the recipe and made it from scratch for our Thanksgiving dinner.
I look forward to your emails. Thank-you and your family for their support while you recover.

  7. Now that they are no longer highlighting the savings, its like they want you pay full price…..super annoying. Will be sending an email to ask them to identify the savings portion.

  8. The lack of yellow tags on sale items is only going to make the stores more congested as people are not able to move through as easily, spot the product they are looking for, and move along.

  9. So, by highlighting the discounted items: do you mean
-using a highlighter on the item number as they do on the Cold FX and Melatonin pictures near the bottom
-or do you mean like the signs like the items that end in .97 where there is no call out of a discount amount in a box and if you didn’t know that items that end in .97 are clearance you wouldn’t know they are on sale at all.
I’ve never noticed that our Warehouse bothers using highlighters on the sign- maybe it just depends on who does the markdown signage at your warehouse.

Thank you as always for your helpful posts. I often share on Facebook- especially when there are popular items like diapers or wipes that are popular with a lot of people or special posts like seasonal items.

  10. This is a very useful site for those who like to save both time and money. I check every week. Costco should pay you! I click on an ad for you every week. Other people should click on the ads as well as a payment for such great, consistent service
