RECALL NOTICE: Usborne Touchy-Feely Children’s Board Books That’s Not My Giraffe/Squirrel/Mermaid/Monkey

Hi Everyone,

Unfortunately, my son’s favorite bedtime books have been recalled from Costco. He loves playing with the Usborne Touchy Feely books before he goes to bed. The set of Four (4) Assorted Usborne Touchy-Feely Children’s Board Books
That’s Not My Giraffe/Squirrel/Mermaid/Monkey Costco Item #1320236 has been recalled due to the possible presence of mould. Make sure to take back the product to Costco for a full refund.

The voluntary recall involves Usborne touchy-feely children’s board books sold at Costco warehouses in Canada between August 10, 2019 and September 1, 2019. These are full coloured children’s books with half die-cut pages featuring tactile elements.

Usborne Publishing Ltd is voluntarily recalling these books due to the possible presence of mold contamination after receiving reports of mold found in cartons of a UK shipment of That’s Not My Monkey; HarperCollins, their distributor, has also received reports of mold on this title within Canada. There have been no reports of consumer incidents or injuries related to the use of these products in Canada.

If you have one of these four (4) children’s board books (That’s Not My Giraffe/Squirrel/Mermaid/Monkey) in your possession, please stop using it and/or remove it from young children immediately. You may return the book to a Costco warehouse to obtain a full refund.
