I’m responding to Evelyn. Your post exudes entitlement . Sounds just like my mother-in-law. You know this isn’t a business promoting their own store? This is someone that goes out of their way, out of their home and away from their real responsibilities to do this for other people? It’s a kind gesture. How about you volunteer to get up and post pics from your area first thing and get them up on a website “before noon.” This person obviously has no idea how much work is involved in this process. I’m happy to see others calling out this inappropriate behaviour. I am raising my children to not ever take for granted the privileges we have here , and the work that others put in for our benefit. I kindly suggest you take a look at at your own behaviour.
Pressing REPLY next to someone’s post would place your post under theirs. Now pressing REPLY scrolls downward. I assume it is trying to get to the REPLY box at the bottom. Is this new behavior because I used to be able to REPLY to someone’s post, or is FIREFOX my browser ?
Thanks for your hard work, and looking forward to the product search feature.
Hello, does Costco baby wipes ever go on sale? We have a baby on the way but not sure if we should wait to buy them. I’m definitely looking forward to the product search function thanks!
Has anyone noticed that there is no Nestea Ice Tea flats at Costco lately? At least not in Calgary stores. Just wondering if they have stopped stocking it.
I’ve been wanting to join the “founders” before the end of August but I’m concerned with having to release so much information about myself. Is there any way I could donate $20 to you in “thanks” for all the work you do?
Chris
Hi Chris, I have Intentionally created the payment portal to minimize the amount of personal information collected from members. The only information I need is name and email address. If you pay with PayPal, I don’t collect more information that that! Even when paying by credit card, I just need your name and credit card number!
We were so disappointed with the Apple braided turnovers. They left a funny taste in our mouth’s and they were too sweet.
I’m shocked to see those 100 pound (it should be 45.4 kilograms as we’ve been metric in Canada since the 70s) propane tanks. I saw them only at the night market in Richmond.
It’s nice to see yeast is available at most locations now but the Lysol wipes and most recently, the alcohol are rare. Lots of hydrogen peroxide though.
I live in Victoria and just purchased the Dempter’s twin pack of raisin bread yesterday. Here is was $6.79 with a $2 savings for a cost of $4.79. I have my receipt in front of me to double check. Have you known there to be area specific discrepancies before? (yours is $3.89)
For those out of BC commenting that some of the items can’t be found in their Province – this is true in BC also. I’m in the Lower Mainland and there are often times when things that are posted here are not available (or not on sale) at my location. I guess each Costco is a bit different in size and demographics and they don’t all carry identical stock.
I just tried the Lemon pepper cod. I would rate it as “decent”. The flavouring and the fish are fine, I just would have liked the breading to be a bit lighter and less toasted.
I’m excited to see the men’s plus size clothes. Do you think this is at all locations? Hopefully there will me more women’s plus too. Inclusive sizing for the win. Thank you for your hard work cocowest!
Thank you for all that you do to provide these posts. It means I don’t have to walk through the entire store every Monday morning to see what’s on sale!
When I can’t find an item that has been posted Costco will send me to ask someone at the service counter. They only need the number of the item advertised so they can look it up to see which of any Edmonton location has got that item.
Thanks for all your work on this blog. Love it! PS In today’s blog you have a sign for NFL Composite Leather Football for $9.97 AND a photo of an NBA Basketball…
I am also from Edmonton and can say for sure there are times that a few products are not available here. Also, there are a few products that are on sale in Edmonton that are not on this blog.
Evelyn, I have an idea, why don’t you get up early and buy your .97 treasures instead or sitting around? Appreciate what others do and respect their time.
Your posts are really appreciated and very helpful – thank you. Week to week it seems that there’s an item on your post that does not appear at my location in Edmonton. Could that be a location difference? E.g. Variety Pack Ice Cream week of 18th Aug, or men’s sport shirts.
Is it possible to list which location you visited? I noticed sometimes it’s mentioned in the blurb above and sometimes not, but can help track down those elusive products
I’ve noticed the Costcos near me are different when it comes to deals/products ending in .97 so it’s best to go check it out yourself. Thank you for always making time for this blog and to share these deals with us in your free time!
Hi Evelyn, thanks for your message, just so you have an idea of what needs to happen to get the post up by noon. If I can get to Costco at 9:00AM, it takes me about one hour and 45 minutes to do my shopping and walk through the entire warehouse. It takes me 30-60 minutes to load my car and drive home depending on which location I visit. Once I’m home it takes me at least 75 minutes to edit the photos and publish the post.
Ideally, I would love to be able to post by noon, but as you can see, I don’t have much room for error. Once my daughter is in full time kindergarten, I hope to be able to get the posts out a little earlier.

Has anyone seen the iHome two in one fan at the Burnaby locations? I bought it $60 online but was hoping to price adjust or rebuy

Has anyone seen the kid’s Cloudveil rainsuit in an Edmonton store? Or are these only in BC? Checked the West end but couldn’t find it.

Really appreciate these posts, can’t wait for Tuesday morning to see what the “other” specials are.

Has anyone tried the Lemon pepper cod? Is it any good?
Thank you so much!

Thank you for this. I am a senior and appreciate this kindness. I look forward to your hard work. Thank you again

Thanks for your hard work!! We really appreciate it. It’s my favourite part of the day. Sorry if Evelyn doesn’t appreciate all you do.

Wow, the sense of entitlement…
Feel free to go to Costco and find the deals yourself you ungrateful jerk!
Is it possible to list which location you visited? I noticed sometimes it’s mentioned in the blurb above and sometimes not, but can help track down those elusive products
Hi Sam, The location is always at the top of the post – in bold below the title. This week I visited Abbotsford.
Lots of great deals this week. Thanks for all you do!!
Thank you for your hard work

Evelyn why don’t you just appreciate the work he does… If you want to see the deals before noon, just go there yourself.
When are you going to start posting BEFORE noon? Mid afternoon is way too late as the best deals especially those ending in .97 are gone before noon.

Agreed! Thanks for the post and love seeing Boots!
Thank you! This really saves these two seniors unnecessary trips. We rely on your leg work before we plan our shopping outings. Stay safe and well.
Hi Boots! Having a cool drink to cool off? Thanks for the post, saves me time when I go to Costco!
Thank you as always.
