Delicious, sweet, soft peanut butter cookies!

I am not affiliated with Costco or any of its suppliers. I am just a fan of the company. I write these reviews to help my fellow shoppers.

Hi it’s Natalie from the Costco food and product review fan blog  Costcuisine! If you like my reviews for Costco food products the greatest thing you can do is follow me on  Instagram or Facebook and also tell your friends about my blog Costcuisine where I review tons of Costco food products each week!  In the last week, I reviewed the Costco Pizza Delight Garlic Cheese Fingers, Costco MadeGood Red Velvet Soft Baked Mini Cookies, Costco Kirkland Signature Raspberry White Chocolate Heart cake (soooo good and perfect for V-Day!) and Costco Kirkland Signature Golden Margarita!

Last Friday we did a huge Costco haul to stock up on some review items and things we needed around the house. I’d seen these Simply Baked Peanut Butter Cookies multiple times in the past and I hesitated to buy them because the packaging didn’t really appeal to me.  However I’m glad I bought these to review! These cookies can be found in the bakery section and the item number is 1124233.

Cost

I paid 7.99 Canadian for the container of 24 cookies.

Simply No Baked Peanut Butter Cookie Ingredients

Convenience

These cookies are unfortunately not school safe but they do freeze really well! They come in a sealed plastic container than can be easily popped in the freezer. The best before date on the cookies is about a week from the date I purchased the cookies. I think kids who can tolerate and enjoy peanuts would love these.

Simply No Baked Peanut Butter Cookie Nutrition

Nutrition

One cookie is 140 calories, six grams of fat, 18 grams of carbohydrates, three grams of protein, 10 grams of sugar, 45 mg of sodium and one gram of fibre. Unfortunately these are not healthy for you at all! The ingredients list is short and sweet but contains mainly sugar and oil. These technically don’t have any gluten because oats are naturally gluten free but some individuals following a gluten free diet only stick to strictly gluten free oats.

Taste

I love peanut butter and enjoy peanut butter cookies and did actually enjoy these. They taste like a very sweet no bake peanut butter cookie. They’re nice and soft and chewy. They taste super fresh. The cookies borderline on just a little too sweet for me but 10 grams of sugar per cookie isn’t horrible considering some small containers of yogurt have much more sugar in them.

I wouldn’t say these are amazing but if you’re a peanut butter cookie fan and don’t feel like making your own, you might want try these.

  1. We tried these and loved the texture and the flavour. I don’t normally eat items with sugar in them but I would make an exception for these. The problem I have is the types of unhealthy oils used in the product.

  2. Way too sweet for me. They would be great with half the sugar as they do have a nice texture and a good peanut butter flavour. To me the sweetness is almost on the same level as cake icing. I won’t be buying them again.

  3. Bought these last week and they are amazing! So good!
    Hard to eat only one.
Ingredients list is short, definitely going to make these at home. Everyone gobbled them up!
