I was leaving Costco Port Coquitlam last week, had a book in my cart. The person at the door told me that
they were slowly closing that department at all Costco’s. Do you know anything about this.
It seems to depend a bit on what store you’re in as to whether they are still carrying any books. I’m really disappointed that Calgary Costco NW seems to be one of the stores that eliminated the book section. Costco was my ‘go to’ for both Xmas and summer reading material as I still prefer an actual book even though I also have an e-reader. It seems the only books that you may find are for kids with the odd few exceptions here and there. It’s disappointing not to even know which stores do or don’t carry any books. Really wish they would rethink this decision.
