Last week on the blog I reviewed the new Costco Kirkland Signature Beef & Pork Cabbage Rolls and the also new Costco Kirkland Signature Egg Bites.

These Cooper Street Granola Bakes are new at my Costco and I’m always looking for peanut-free snacks to send to daycare and grab and go breakfast items for myself so I picked these up to try. The bag has 18 bakes, nine of each kind and I paid $13.99 Canadian for them.
Each granola bake is individually wrapped so you can pack them in a backpack, purse or lunch box really easily. They’re peanut and tree nut free so you can send them to school/daycare. The expiry date on the bakes is about nine months from when I bought them.
In one bake there are 110 calories. The nutrition facts vary slightly depending on the flavor but are pretty much almost the same. I really like that these contain some healthy ingredients like chia seeds, flax, quinoa and pumpkin seeds.
I tried both kinds and I like them both enough but the flavors don’t really seem to match what they’re supposed to be. The cranberry tasted more like grape to me and the blueberry pomegranate also has a bit of an odd artificial flavor. The only negative I have to say about them is the strong artificial flavor taste. They remind me of a sweet, soft oatmeal cookie with dried fruit and a bit of crunchy texture in it. I will say that my toddler actually finished one entire granola bake which she never does with anything, even really delicious stuff, so I think if you have a toddler you might want to give these a try.
Cost: 8/10
Convenience: 10/10
Nutrition: 6.5/10
Taste: 6/10 but my toddler really liked them.
