Hi Everyone,

After I posted the pictures from Taiwan, I received some pictures from Costco Warehouses in Australia!  As I have said before, I love going to visit other countries to see all the different types of foods and products available there.  It is interesting to see that there are quite a few items that seem to find their way across borders (for practically the same price).  Thank you so much to Emma and Keith who provided the photos for this week!  I also received some new pictures from Japan, but I’ll wait for another week or so to post these for you!

CHECK OUT PART 1 – Costco West Sales Items for Dec 26-31 for BC, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan

CHECK OUT PART 2 – SEASONAL – CHRISTMAS, CHOCOLATES AND TOYS

*** One thing to keep in mind when reading this blog is that sales items in the meat and produce section are store dependent – the manager sets the sales for these items. For that reason, the chicken sales that you see this week (and last) may not be available at your store. Also, any items on the blog that end in ‘.97’ means the item is on a clearance. These ‘.97’ items are also store dependent. If you are interested in one of these products you can check with customer service to see if any of the items is available at a nearby store! If you purchased the product previously and it has gone on sale, if you bring in the original receipt and you have purchased the product withing 30 days (or longer, depending on the employee), Costco will refund you the difference!

Use these posts to make the best use of your Costco Card! I have done all the hard work for you and have a weekly listings of all the Costco Sales Items and flyers. Costco does not publish these Costco sales items; the only way to find out what is on sale is to walk the whole store! Come back every Monday to find out what is on sale for the week. The sales may vary slightly by store, but are generally pretty consistent between Western Canada. If there is something you really want, please make sure to double check the expiry date as some of the Costco sales items have been known to end mid-week.

  1. Actually, similar to here the prices at the Australian Costco are generally CHEAPER than regular retailers there. Prices for everything downunder are expensive! Don’t forget those posted prices include tax.

My impression over a few visits as a tourist was that I was surprised how many North American brands and products they carried. I thought they would have more local items.

By the way, the original price of the giant koala was $279.99 (back in August when I was there)! I couldn’t jam it into my suitcase! 🙂

  2. Wow, I would have expected pure maple syrup to be twice the price. Even considering the exchange rate, it’s only $2 more than what us Canadians pay.

  3. Thanks to everyone for the Costco Australia photos. I really enjoy seeing the different things sold around the world. Also, it is nice to see someone in shorts, which reminds me it is hot and without snow over there!

  4. Hi,
Costco in Australia way more expensive than in Vancouver, we are so lucky to stay
in Vancouver. Thank you for posting Australia Costco for us to see
