Costco West Sales Items for Mar 6-12 for BC, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan

Hi everyone!

[embedyt] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzPxuniISEw[/embedyt]

The little one just started to “sing” this week!  After months of singing to her she is finally singing back!!

This is the second week in a row of Baby Sales!!  Most importantly – Huggies Diapers (which I have been waiting for months) is finally here!  A couple of boxes of diapers and nothing else fits in your buggy!  Ivory Laundry Soap, Huggies Pull Ups, and the Braun Ear Thermometers round out the baby week.  Will the Pekkly onesies go on sale next week?  They did last year so I’ll cross my fingers for next week two!

I’ve made it a bit easier to navigate from week to week on the posts.  Since I’ve been doing this for so long, I have noticed that some of the same items come up for sale at the same times of the year.  I will be adding a link at the bottom of the post that takes you to the post one year ago from next week.  This link will give you an idea of what will be on sale next week (if you are looking for something in particular).  I hope this helps!

As always, there are lots of unadvertised deals AND clearance items this week.  Clearance items are denoted by the .97 price ending – they may or may not be in your local store – clearance items do not usually last long in the stores.

Happy Shopping!

*** One thing to keep in mind when reading this blog is that sales items in the meat and produce section are store dependent – the manager sets the sales for these items. For that reason, the chicken sales that you see this week (and last) may not be available at your store. Also, any items on the blog that end in ‘.97’ means the item is on a clearance. These ‘.97’ items are also store dependent. If you are interested in one of these products you can check with customer service to see if any of the items is available at a nearby store! If you purchased the product previously and it has gone on sale, if you bring in the original receipt and you have purchased the product withing 30 days (or longer, depending on the employee), Costco will refund you the difference!

Use these posts to make the best use of your Costco Card! I have done all the hard work for you and have a weekly listings of all the Costco Sales Items and flyers. Costco does not publish these Costco sales items; the only way to find out what is on sale is to walk the whole store! Come back every Monday to find out what is on sale for the week. The sales may vary slightly by store, but are generally pretty consistent between Western Canada. If there is something you really want, please make sure to double check the expiry date as some of the Costco sales items have been known to end mid-week.

  1. Thank you very much for your time and effort you put into providing this information. I usually plan my weekly trip to Costco around your posts. Thanks again!

    • The gas cans can be found at Burnaby Wellington location. I also remember seeing them at Vancouver downtown. Or is it the old Burnaby production way? But there are a few stores carrying them. You can always call the warehouse and ask them to check, with the item number.

  2. Are the LED lights only on sale in BC? It shows a BC hydro rebate?
I am in Alberta, and just bought 20 of those lights last week, so I would love to return and rebuy….or get a price adjustment if they do that.

  3. Thank you again for this.
Just a question – does anyone know what Activity Trackers are in the store? Besides a Garmin Vivosmart HR? I was in there Monday, and bought a Garmin for $128.99 on sale (was $148.99 reg price), but I’m not loving it, and wonder what else might be in the warehouse (perhaps even on special to warrant returning it this week rather than waiting?). I am in Manitoba. Thanks

  4. Love love love your site 🙂 I make our grocery list after your weekly update & it’s saved us so much money– thank you!
Question, the BC/AB pictures, what province are these taken in? The reason I ask is we are on the hunt for the wood paneling. We’ve called one of the warehouses in the lower mainland & were told it’s only available online…clearly by your pictures that’s not true.
    Thanks!!

  5. Which Costco are you taking these photos at? A few items on clearance I haven’t been able to find at the downtown store that’s close to my work. If the store you go to isn’t too far away, I wouldn’t mind making the trek. Thanks for your hard work!

  6. Hello there, please do you have QUEEN SIZE MATTRESS PAD at your local Costco? I need two of them and they are no more available in Edmonton.

  7. Hello,
Thank you again for the posting. And I have made sure all my friends who know this site must click on the ads for you, just to help you within our control.
    Have a great day!

  8. Does anyone know the country of origin for the Highliner Sole fish fillets? Thanks in advance for the information.
Also a big thank you as always for this site. Very cute clip of your daughter singing. She is a sweetheart!

    • China. so I didn’t buy it.
The planko breaded tilapia is product of USA. Not sure if the fish is actually sourced from there.

  9. FYI for those considering the melatonin. I bought some a year ago and just haven’t found it as effective as the sublingual kind. Plus, if you read anything on melatonin, it says lower doses are better, with 1-3mg often being most effective (sometimes much less). Higher doses can actually CAUSE insomnia. So with it being both a pill you have to digest before it reaches your blood stream and a high dose, I’ll be switching back to a smaller sublingual dose. I had some of another brand leftover, and found it much more effective the other night. More is not always better, but Costco always goes big of course. 😉

    • Sarah, I agree that the Nature’s Bounty melatonin did not give very good results. And, I agree about the sublingual ones. Checking ahead on Costco ads I see they had Webber Naturals on sale last year. (This new feature with last year’s sale posts is great.)

  10. The potato soup is yummy! A little thin until you let it sit for a bit after cooking. Very flavourful though. Tiny bits of potatos, so not like real potato soup, but great considering it comes from a packet!

Haven’t tried the lasagna soup yet. Meat flavour in a bag doesn’t appeal to me as much. 😉

  11. Love your blog. Thank you. Im just wondering which squeezy packs you went to buy in the states. Do they have the mango/pear/kale ones back? I’ve been waiting ages for them.

    • We buy the breaded tilapia almost every trip; our family of 4 likes it a lot. Even my oldest who is a VERY picky eater!

    • I just actually bought it two weeks ago, and my son is little over 2 yrs old. I would not say he is a picky eater, but he has his moments which can be changed everyday. He apparently likes it, so does my family. We cook it by the instruction and its very tasty. It does not come with the fishy taste actually, its pretty good. Recommend it!

  12. HAHAH thanks Tynan once again… Hubby and I remembered your previous post about the Kirkland Baby Wipes going on sale just twice a year- that post, we purchased 2 boxes and considered that a “win”. Friday I had to send Hubby with my oldest, as baby and I were sick. They came back with SIX boxes. You rock!

  13. your daughter is adorable! as always, thank you OP!
any one tried the Johnny’s potato cheddar soup and the Ravioli?

    • Yes on the ravioli, very easy to make and quite tasty! My kid enjoys them too and doesn’t even complain about the spinach. Comes with Parmesan seasoning packets. You can eat them as is or add some tomatoes sauce, both are good!

    • The Johnny’s soup is really nice. I find I have to cook it a bit longer than the instructions say though or the potatoes and carrots still feel a bit hard. It’s also great if you want to add things to it (extra veggies, bacon or leftover baked ham are really tasty in it).

  14. I always check this site before going to Costco. This saves me another trip for price adjustments. I eventually learned to check first. Thank you for doing this every week. Your daughter is sweet and growing quickly.

  15. Thanks very much, really appreciate it!

I wish Kirkland brand diapers would go on sale, seems like they never do!

  16. You have two pictures of the size 5 diapers one sale and one not. And no size 4 diapers. I’m guessing they are on sale though ? 😉 thank you.

  17. Thank you so much for this site. I waited for diapers to go on sale just like you predicted – and I stocked right up! I saved $27 on just three boxes. I hope everybody is clicking on ads for this site – it is the least you can do for this service that she offers to everyone for free!!
