Costco West Sales Items for Feb 27 – Mar 5 for BC, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan

Hi everyone!

I think a lot of people have been waiting for the next two weeks because this is the week that all the baby items go on sale!  Kirkland Infant Formula – Lactose Sensitive and Regular, Kirkland Baby Wipes, Huggies Pull Ups, Kirkland Moist Flushable Wipes, Braun Thermoscan Ear Thermometers and Ivory Snow HE Liquid Detergent are all for sale this week.  Next week I expect Huggies Diapers and Laminate Flooring to go on sale!

I’ve made it a bit easier to navigate from week to week on the posts.  Since I’ve been doing this for so long, I have noticed that some of the same items come up for sale at the same times of the year.  Starting this week, I will be adding a link at the bottom of the post that takes you to the post one year ago from next week.  This link will give you an idea of what will be on sale next week (if you are looking for something in particular).  I hope this helps!

This week GFR Leanfit Whey Protein (Chocolate and Vanilla), Grimms Yours Naturally Turkey Pepperoni, Anco Havarti (Creamy & Jalepeno), Kirkland Paper Towels, Scotties Tissues, Bounce Fabric Softener, Resolve Stain Remover, Resinite wrap, Iams Chunks Dog Food, Philidelphia Cream Cheese, Stoned Wheat Thins, Quaker Instant Oatmean, Black Diamond Marble Cheestrings, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Tetley Tea, Hidden Valley Ranch, Newman’s Own Pasta Sauce, Strub’s Pickled Eggs, Cambell’s Chicken Broth, Aerius and Reactine are all products that my family purchases.

As always, there are lots of unadvertised deals AND clearance items this week.  Clearance items are denoted by the .97 price ending – they may or may not be in your local store – clearance items do not usually last long in the stores.

Happy Shopping!

*** One thing to keep in mind when reading this blog is that sales items in the meat and produce section are store dependent – the manager sets the sales for these items. For that reason, the chicken sales that you see this week (and last) may not be available at your store. Also, any items on the blog that end in ‘.97’ means the item is on a clearance. These ‘.97’ items are also store dependent. If you are interested in one of these products you can check with customer service to see if any of the items is available at a nearby store! If you purchased the product previously and it has gone on sale, if you bring in the original receipt and you have purchased the product withing 30 days (or longer, depending on the employee), Costco will refund you the difference!

Use these posts to make the best use of your Costco Card! I have done all the hard work for you and have a weekly listings of all the Costco Sales Items and flyers. Costco does not publish these Costco sales items; the only way to find out what is on sale is to walk the whole store! Come back every Monday to find out what is on sale for the week. The sales may vary slightly by store, but are generally pretty consistent between Western Canada. If there is something you really want, please make sure to double check the expiry date as some of the Costco sales items have been known to end mid-week.

  1. Has anyone seen Schwartz’s Montreal Smoked Meat in any BC Costco stores this week? Saw it in Richmond a few weeks ago but now they only have Dunn’s again.

  2. Was just at Costco in Winnipeg, MB today and Dempsters bread is on sale, $2.00 off regular price I think. Just providing feedback as you had asked a couple weeks ago when they go on sale in the Prairies. Thanks for taking the time to do this website for us! Much appreciated and I always try and click on an ad or two.

  3. Does Kirkland Baby Formula go on sale more than once a year? I keep an eye on Huggies and it’s usually twice a year. I’m hoping Formula will be on sale again in six months. Can anyone please confirm if you recall seeing Kirkland Formula going on sale more than once a year? Do you know when?

  4. Hi
Saw Samsung dryers on sale this week at 399.97 but the 2 stores I was in only had them for
599.99 are they only at a few costco’s in the west,I live, outside of Edmonton so do not have time to drive in and check all Edmonton stores

  5. I called around & was told the space bags are only available at the Abbotsford & Surrey locations now. Not sure about the rest of BC but that’s the case for the Lower Mainland.

  6. Thank you! now i’m looking forward to Monday 🙂 and the pork jerky on sale, yay!!!
one question tho, anyone know where can i find Caesar salad in Vancouver? (not from food court but from the deli section), i tried visiting the DT and Willingdon Burnaby one but couldn’t find it

  7. I love the link for sales from last year. Brilliant idea, and it’s neat to see the sililarities! I had no idea there’d be similarities.

  8. The Samsung washer is CRAP!!! Doesn’t clean well at all. Costco has the best return policy so back they went! But what a pain in the butt! Just heads up!
Also, as someone else mentioned, do not flush wipes, even if they claim they’re flushable. Direct from the city works dept!

    • TBH, many people lost faith in Samsung a long time ago. Like with Bose products, Samsung makes a lot of inferior products which Costco tends to pick up. However, bringing back a huge washer would certainly be a challenge for most people.

  9. Thanks for the post. Also, the link to the old post really helps. I am waiting for diapers.

Does anyone know if Kirkland brand diapers ever go on sale?

  10. Thank you for doing this…

Anyone purchased the ziploc space bags? Can you tell me if the majority of the bags are the ones you need a vacuum cleaner to suck all the air out? The travel ones look like the kind you just roll up to squeeze the air out. Still not sure which locations carry these bags but definitely not in Vancouver. Thanks.

      • Really? I walked that store for a good 30 minutes extra looking for them a couple of weeks ago… I debate on whether I need them or not. Thanks for the info.

    • I bought these last year. They required a vacuum to suck the air out and they all filled with air again within 2 weeks making them pointless. I returned them.

    • Linda these have just left me disappointed most of the time. Vacuum needed and often the lose their seal leading to bursting boxes in my basement lol. For a short term solution they may be ok but they have torn ripped and cracked over time for me personally. I will use up what I have but even for travel it all weighs the same so cut back rather than have trouble if these reinflate

  11. I’ve been told by someone that the Dempster bread is finally on sale this week in Manitoba but I haven’t been able to confirm that yet.

  12. I needed to go to Costco today as a trip would not work out any other day this week. Before I left from work I checked for your post. Didn’t find it, but went anyway.

If Costco thinks this is not a service to them they are wrong. I would have spent nearly $100.00 more if I would have been able to target all that were on special. Most of which I don’t usually buy unless they are on special.

Thanks again for your great work.

  13. Thanks! And for the love of all things please DO NOT FLUSH those flushable wipes. The are destroying and clogging our sewer systems.

    • Thank you very much for your post about the flushable wipes. I just purchased 5 packs from Shoppers today. They were on sale for $2.99 each. I bought them because of the package, with the aim of buying the refills from Costco. I will return them tomorrow. Thank you.

    • If you listen to competent plumbers and those in the industry, they all the same thing: do NOT flush anything down the toilet but toilet paper and human waste. And do not flush dental floss either. Eventually, there might be a push back against calling these kinds of wipes “flushable”.

  14. Thanks for putting these up! I clicked some ads.

I just saw a “Costco Free Sample” ad that is showing up on your page. If you see this ad, DO NOT CLICK IT. It will ask some questions and you will eventually need to provide your address and credit card information to claim the samples. It has all the markings of a scam.

  15. Really appreciate all the hard work that goes into this! Curious if you have a regular location that you check in to or do you mix it up? I think you’re based in the lower mainland so just wanted to see if you’re usually at the willowbrook location or what.

    Thanks again!

  16. Thank you ? I did go to Costco before I check your post but I was worried that I will miss something. Thankfully, I didn’t ? Thanks again!
