Happy National Caesar Day!!!  Craft The Perfect Caesar with Matt and Steve.

Hi Everyone,

The weather is FINALLY starting to turn and we are all look forward to sitting on the deck and enjoying a little bit of sun.  Last year, the lack of sleep due to a newborn baby, was not great for my social life; however, this year I vow to do better!  Now that the little one can entertain herself, perhaps Mom and Dad will have some time to relax on their own.

Today is National Caesar Day!  The fine people at Matt & Steve’s have sent me a sample of their product that will help anyone kick up their Caesar making abilities up a notch.  If you are a Caesar lover like me, but have always had a problem replicating the flavour of a restaurant-style Caesar, these two products will satisfy your taste buds.  For me, a Caesar is the perfect after-work drink.  There is something about that salty, briny taste of a Caesar that is not replicated in any other drink.

The instructions on the Caesar Rimmer are all you need:

  • Moisten rim of a 12 oz glass and swirl in Matt & Steve’s Caesar Rim
  • Add ice to the glass until full (Ice is Nice)
  • Add 1 ½ oz of Vodka (or your favorite spirit)
  • Add a few shakes of Worcestershire
  • Add 1 oz of The Extreme Bean Brine
  • Squeeze a ¼ lime wedge into the glass
  • Add Caesar Mix and fill glass to just under the rim
  • Add a few sprinkles of Matt & Steve’s Caesar Rim on top
  • Gently stir until well mixed and Garnish with The Extreme Bean and a lime wedge

** I added some Tobacco sauce to kick it up a notch and two Extreme Beans.**

The completed drink tasted exactly what I would expect a Caesar to taste like if I ordered one from a fancy restaurant.  The extremely crunchy beans came out with little bits of delicious pickled garlic that added some great texture to the finished drink.  The Extreme Bean Brine gave the Caesar the perfect pickle flavour without overpowering.  The Caesar rimmer was pleasant and fragrant and made you look forward to sipping on a nice salty, sour, unami-filled beverage.  The Tobasco finished the drink perfectly with a bit of heat to cool you down on a hot day.

I look forward to this long weekend where we all will break out of hibernation and hopefully enjoy some time with friends and family and perhaps a nice Caesar to go with it.

Gluten Sensitivities or Vegetarian / Vegan?  No problem says Matt & Steve, the recipe can be tailored to for all!  Use The Wizards Organic, Gluten Free, Vegan Worcestershire Sauce & Tomato Juice instead of Clamato and you have yourself a lovely Bloody Mary!

If you are looking for a product to take your after work Caesars to the next level.  Look no further than this product.  Amaze your friends with new Caesar making ability!  An added bonus is that Mott’s Clamato Juice is on sale this week at Costco for $9.99 for 4 X 1.89 L – why don’t you pick some up at the same time?  Cheers!

  1. I love Caesars anywhere, at any time. They are my indulgence drink. I do like them with garlic Parmesan wings, relaxing on an outdoor patio.

  2. I would love to sit on my patio with a Caesar in one hand, binoculars in my other hand, relax and watch the mountain goats on the far mountain! thanks

  3. This might seem greedy of me but i was expecting some sort of giveaway of the advertised item for being fed an off topic ad…
