Costco West Sales Items for July 17-23 for BC, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan

Hi Everyone!

Here is a little early gift for you this Monday.  I had the day off and thought I would get this post done early for everyone.

There are lots of clearance items on sale this week.  As well, some of the new products include living room furniture, back to school items and I saw winter clothing on sale.  I didn’t see any Christmas Items, but I expect to see some by the end of the month.

Since it is my day off and I want to enjoy the sunshine, I’ll just post the pictures today.

  1. Charmin Toilet paper has been downsized from 36 rolls (209 sheets/roll) to 30 roles at 221 sheets/roll. Price hasn’t been reduced 17% …. What a ripoff — time for a brand switch.

    • I thought I was the only one realized that. I got the last bag of 36 rolls one but even then I realized the papers got thinner. I need more sheets than before. Maybe time to switch to the Costco band unless they bring back the 36 rolls. I can’t believe they reduce so much while the price stay the same!

  2. Thanks so much for these posts! I always look forward to seeing them…and I’ve clicked on a few ads for you!

    Have a great week!
    😀

  3. Hi,
Thank you for your hard work. I went to Costco this morning to get
few items. Thank you once again
    Good night

  4. thanks for the early post as going Tuesday and our Costco is out of town so much appreciated as can make my list up

    • They are yummy, they have a great taste and a very nice texture. I think I would describe the overall taste as kind of mild curry or maybe just cumin. They are very satisfying.

    • The black bean burgers are really good; however, I have never actually cooked and ate the product like a burger. I smash the bean burger up in a frying pan as an alternative to hamburger meat for a taco salad. Delicious!!!

    • I love them!! I fry it up for a quick lunch, even my 4 year old likes to take a few bites! Has just enough spice to have a really good flavor.

    • I was actually at Costco today staring at those burgers but since I didn’t know anything about them I just couldn’t bring myself to put them in my cart. With the positive comments here now I guess I’ll have to try them next time.

  5. Thanks for the early post – makes it easy to decide what to buy.

Btw Anyone else bought Roots backpacks/lunch bags? Would appreciate some reviews. Thanks!

    • These lunch bags are great. We have 4 of them. The inside plastic liner zips out so you can clean it.
We’ve been using them for over a year and they’re in perfect condition.

    • I bought a backpack last year for my son and I’m very happy with how it held up through the year. I won’t have to buy a new one for this year.

    • We have had my daughters roots backpack for three years and going to use it one more year for school. The zippers are amazing and the pack is very durable. It is our second run with a Costco Roots backpack, first one lasted 4 years also. Only changed as she got older and wanted a different design

    • We do not like the lunch bags at all. They are too big to fit inside backpacks if you have anything else in them> We have had issues with the lids to the containers (hard to put on). The plastic liner is fantastic however. It’s just way too wide.

We aren’t really liking the Roots bags unless you are a teen/adult They are much too big for youth (wide in the shoulders) which contribute to posture issues wearing them etc. If you are looking for a good backpack, Dakine (fantastic) and Burton (also fantastic) made great quality children, youth and adult items.

  6. Lot’s of good deals this week… anyone use the Kirkland laundry detergent that is $4 off? Is it as good or better than Tide?

    • Nothing is better than Tide. The Kirkland though is a pretty good value for that price, especially if you do a lot of laundry.

  7. Does anybody notice that the recent sale items recently are more on more on items that we don’t need? There used to be more things that I wanted to buy, but now I can hardly find one or two items that I need.

    • Exactly what I’ve been thinking! I was thinking maybe I was just becoming more frugal, but now I know in not the only one.

    • I think I’ll have to respectfully disagree with you on this one Mike. I have actually thought about buying a lottery ticket because it seems just about everything that I have needed within the past few months HAS been on sale. It’s like I’m on some kind of lucky streak or something…but everyone has a different experience I suppose.

I guess if you don’t need anything this week, there’s always next week, isn’t there? To be honest, I myself would welcome the opportunity to save a little cash and NOT have to go shopping…but alas, in my household, we’re always running short of something.

      🙂

    • But everyone needs different things at different times…so you may not need these things but others do. I find those omega pills go on sale a lot lately…how many do they think people need lol
