  1. Thank you for all your hard work as always! Just in case anyone reads this, FYI to Downtown Costco shoppers: The raisin brioche are $1 off for $6.99, and the Roma tomatoes are $1 off for $2.49. This is just until Aug 5. Random sale in the middle of the week 🙂

  2. I’m wondering if anyone can tell me how the Snap pea crisps are? I have a 2 and 3 yr old grandbaby and I’m trying to find them some healthier snacks without always being fresh fruit or veggies.

  3. Thank you as always for all the work you (and your family) do for everyone! I look forward to visiting your blog every week. Hope you feel better soon as well.

  4. Watch Costco prices very carefully. I have been watching the prices of Strip Loin Grilling steak for the past couple of weeks and at our store the price has been 18.99 per KG so I found they were cheaper at either Coop or Safeway and bought there. This week they are offering the Strip Loin Grilling steak for $7 off the package BUT the price is now $26.99 so they are offering nothing off the product. I wish I had taken pictures of last weeks prices and this week and sent to Consumer Affairs as this is completely illegal to raise a price to put on sale. BEWARE.

    • Thank you for this tip! I now will watch more closely for meat “sales” but I find costco prices are way higher and I don’t typically buy my meat from Costco.

  5. Can anyone comment on the BioSteel Whey Protein powder? How does it taste? I am a frequent buyer of Kaizen, just wondering how it compares.

    • I returned it because I thought there was a strange aftertaste. It could be the stevia it’s sweetened with. But don’t let me deter you from buying it. You might like it. And if you don’t, you can always take it back for a refund.
