Costco West Sale Items for Oct 22 – Oct 28, 2018 for BC, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan

A quick update from Tynan:

Many thanks to my brother for continuing to help out while I recover.

The deal of the week this week is Chicken Wings ($4.00 off a package).    Scotties Tissue and Bounty Paper Towel are also on sale again this week.  The huge supply of Bounty Paper Towel in my laundry closet is finally being put to use…I just picked up an 8 week old puppy on Friday.  This photo of him yawning is equal to the feeling I have right now while doing this post at midnight – complete and utter exhaustion.  Can anyone guess the breed (hint: he is a mix of 2)?

  1. Thanks for the post, and hope that you are recovering well. I’ve had a few people in my daily circle with the same issue in the last 6 months and all are taking longer than hoped to recover.

  2. The Saskatoon Costco also has the Zavida Hazelnut coffee on sale for $9.99. This was not mentioned in the post, so I don’t know if it was missed or not on sale in Vancouver

  3. The fish sticks are really, really good!

I noticed a discrepancy in the chicken broth listed on sale. It’s a picture of the Kirkland product but the sign says Campbell’s. Does anyone know which one is correct?

  4. Love the puppy! What kind is it? And thank you for the weekly posts…I don’t go to Costco until I check this out.

  5. Is there a way to get the Costco USA weekly items on sale? I live near the USA border in Vancouver and would love to know what is on special down there to decide if I want to make a special trip. Does anyone know of a similar way to receive weekly notices as we are lucky to have thru Cocowest?
    Thanks!

  6. Has anyone seen those nice big grey snow shovels with the steel guard and bonus ice scraper in the stores yet, have not seen it in Calgary at all, just some cheap plastic blue ones

  7. Your little puppy looks very much like our little fella who is a bishon crossed with kin cavalier spaniel, what is now called a cavashon. They are do darn cute!

  8. Thanks for posting. We feel your pain. We have a 16-week old Golden Retriever who keeps us on our toes. My guess is your pup is a Golden Doodle?

  9. ooh the bourbon cake sounds intriguing Cute puppy, hope your feeling better soon. I know it’s a long recovery. many thanks to your brother

  10. Shopping at Costco isn’t any fun anymore. At many locations in Metro Vancouver they’re often out of stock anytime meat and poultry is on sale. More recently, half and half cream and eggs often are out of stock too. I’m having my doubts if it’s even worth it to have a membership anymore.

    • We won’t be renewing. The beef is now tough and the pork is American. We don’t buy much of the other things there, so little in fact, that as of August our cash rebate was $8.

      • Everytime we purchase the fresh chicken breasts, they are SO tough. We have stopped buying them as it keeps happening. yuck
