Costco Flyer & Costco Sale Items for Jan 30 – Feb 5, 2023 for BC, AB, MB, SK

Location: Burnaby (Willingdon), BC

Hi Everyone!

Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well!  Our whole family seems to be doing well this week so far and so I’m getting a chance to do some things unattached from the kids this week.

There are quite a few new items on sale this week since there has been a whole new flyer out for the month.  I still don’t see Costco WiFi available at the Willingdon store yet, but hopefully it will be introduced soon.  The checkout definitely feels a little different with all the plexi-glass taken out.  It just feels weird after so much time with them installed.

It is time for my son to switch to Pull-Ups now that he is almost two and so I picked up a pack for him.  I don’t believe I have seen the Bothwell Cheese Curds for sale before as well so make sure to grab a pack if you want a quick snack.  The Beyond Meat Mild Italian Sausage is a new product to Costco and also for sale!

If you are looking for a pair of walking poles, they are on sale this week only.  There were a couple of items in the flyer which I didn’t seen in the store like the Powdered Peanut Butter, the Puma Running Shoes, the Coconut Kefir and the Sheepskin rug.  Hopefully, these will come in soon and I’ll try to get photos when they are in the store.

I’m finally able to have some time without the kids so I will be doing…. my taxes.  Wish me luck!

Happy Shopping!

  1. Getting there 830 or 9 is that such a big difference? He is already doing so much and getting it up as quickly as he can. I find it ridiculous how some people are so inconsiderate of other people and feel so entitled to having this done for them when THEY need it.
Anyways. Thanks for all you do for this site. Its amazing.

  2. Are you going to start posting earlier like you did before the pandemic? I remember you’d post by noon, and it would give me time to do a quick run before picking my kids up from school. That’s kind of the reason why I subscribe, to pay for early viewing of the blog post on Mondays.

    • Hi Grace! Good question! Unfortunately, the addition of the captions and the pricing database has added a couple hours to my ability to get the post out early. Previously, I was able to take photos in about 3 hours (including driving time) and post those photos right away.

The addition of the database has added an extra 2 hours of work. I still have to edit the photos and correct any of the price tag information not imported correctly.

On Mondays, I’m at the store at 9:00AM, and usually get home at 12:00pm. Then it’s editing photos and captions. While I can usually get that work done in 2 hours, when there are a lot of photos (when a new flyer comes out) sometimes I have to interrupt my work to pick my daughter up from school at 2:10pm.

All that being said. I endeavour to get the posts up by 2:00pm, but if it is not up by 2:00pm it will be up by 4:00pm.

I hope that offers some insight!

      • If you want to get done a bit earlier, the Still Creek store regularly opens by 8:30 AM if not a bit earlier. I go there every Wednesday at 8:45AM and is always opened.
