This cookie bark looked irresistable at Costco so I had to pick up a bag to try. I love the combination of chocolate and sea salt and I’m also a big cookie fan. The bag only cost $13.99 Canadian too which isn’t too expensive!
The bag reseals and the best before date is a month BEFORE I purchased them! If you buy these make sure you check your best before date. I bought these April 17th and the best before date on the bag when I looked to do this review is for March 12th. The cookie bark works well as a dessert or sweet snack.
In five pieces of cookie bark there are 160 calories, nine grams of fat, 20 grams of carbohydrates, one gram of fibre, 14 grams of sugar, two grams of protein, 160 milligrams of sodium. The cookie bark contains wheat, barley, milk, eggs and soy and may contain peanuts and tree nuts.
This “bark” is just like pieces of chocolate chip cookies with dark chocolate coated on them. Some pieces are quite salty and others are not as salty. The dark chocolate isn’t bitter at all and is quite sweet. They remind me a lot of the Superstore Decadent cookies. They’re really addictive and pretty darn tasty, My toddler loved them too.
