RECALL NOTICE: Hampton House brand Chicken Nuggets recalled due to Salmonella

Hi Everyone,

Some bad news for this particular product that I know is popular with the kids.  These chicken nuggets were on sale as of two weeks ago.  The Hampton House brand Chicken Nuggets have been recalled due to Salmonella.  This was discovered during testing and there have not yet been any reports of anyone getting sick.

If you have purchased this product, please check the best before date to see if has been affected b this recall. Do not consume the product and return it to Costco for a full refund.  You can return partially opened packages for a refund.  I have even returned products that have been recalled in a repackaged ziplock bag!

The recalled product has been sold in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Food contaminated with Salmonella may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Young children, pregnant women, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems may contract serious and sometimes deadly infections. Healthy people may experience short-term symptoms such as fever, headache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal cramps and diarrhea. Long-term complications may include severe arthritis.
