Last week on the blog I reviewed the Costco Pelmen Perogies and the Costco De Milan Dubai Style Chocolate Panettone.

We’re handing out a ton of candy for Halloween but I also thought I’d throw some cookies in my candy bowl just to mix things up! These Leclerc Celebration cookies are $13.99 Canadian and have 30 packs of cookies in the box, each pack has two cookies in it.

The cookies have a best before date that’s eight months from when I purchased the cookies. Since the cookies come in small two pack they’re easy to travel with or pop in your lunch. These aren’t completely nut-free so that’s something to keep in mind.

The nutrition facts vary depending on the flavor of cookie but range from 140 to 150 calories, six to seven grams of fat and 11 to 14 grams of sugar. The cookies have milk, wheat and soy in them.

These are a basic sweet butter cookie with milk chocolate on top. The caramel truffle version has a slight bit of caramel filling and a hint of caramel flavor in it. The cookies are crisp, not too sweet and the quality of the chocolate is quite good. These are a very simple but tasty cookie and I think they’ll be enjoyed by both kids and adults.
