Last week on the blog I reviewed the Costco Galerie Au Chocolate Artisinal Caramels, the Costco Desobry Belgian Chocolate Biscuits and the J.Charles Chocolatier Sea Salt Caramel Mallows.

I was at Costco this past week and I stumbled upon these new Lay’s chips and wanted to try them. I paid $7.49 Canadian for the 585 gram bag. That’s not bad for a big bag of chips.

The chips don’t reseal once opened and and the best before date is less than two months from when I purchased them. Chips are great to have as an appetizer or snack and are usually loved by many.

44 chips have 270 calories, 17 grams of fat, 28 grams of carbohydrates, two grams of fibre, one gram of sugar, three grams of protein and 250 milligrams of sodium. There’s nothing natural about the ingredients and I wish I hadn’t looked at it to be honest.

These chips aren’t my favorite but they’re certainly not bad and I do like them. They actually do taste a lot like turkey gravy or roast chicken with a kick. If you’ve had Swiss Chalet sauce before they also taste a bit like their sauce. If you like barbecue flavored chips you may like these. There’s nothing wrong with them but I think after like then I’d be over them.
