I’m a huge fan of Culinary Treasures Aioli which they stopped selling at my Costco so I decided to pick up this Colona Sauce for French fries and burgers. I paid $13.99 Canadian for the 1.6 liter two pack.

Each sauce is 800 milliliters which is huge! They’re a bit hard to find room for in the refrigerator and there’s no way my family can get through both sauces in a month which is when they should be used by after opening. Depending which sauce you like more you can use either sauce for burger, fries, sandwiches, wraps etc. I preferred the burger sauce compared to the fry sauce so I dipped my fries in that.

The calories, fat, sugar and sodium differ very slightly but one tablespoon of sauce is 60-80 calories, six to eight grams of fat, one to two grams of sugar and 115 to 120 milligrams of sodium. Both sauces contain eggs and mustard and may have milk, anchovies, soy, wheat and sulphites.

Both the burger sauce and fry sauce are very tangy. The fry sauce tastes mainly like pickles with a hint of mustard and tomato. The burger sauce tastes mainly like plain mayo with a bit of tang mustard. Neither of these are as tasty in flavor as the Culinary Treasues Aioli but the consistency/texture is pretty much the same.
