RECALL NOTICE: Taylor Farms Creamy Dill Pickle Salad Recall

Hi Everyone,

It looks like my family’s favorite packaged salad was unfortunately recalled.  We have been buying this regularly since they started stocking it.  We got a phone call last night about this – and the official recall notice was posted today. It was sad not to see this item in stock today.

The affected lots were sold between March 11-18, 2021 and was recalled due to the possible presence of pieces of metal or plastic.  The best before date on the affected package is March 22, 2021.

If you have purchased this item, you can return the item (or whatever is left) to Costco for a full refund.

  1. Hmm. I never new Costco carried these. While convenient, why not make your own salad especially if you own a Vitamix?

  2. Yeah, I purchased it about 5 days ago…I received a call to return it to Costco for full refund…Fortunately I had not used it, so will be taking it back to Costco, although they should not be asking to bring it back for full refund…they will destroy the recalled product anyway.

  3. I had a small solid piece of plastic in mine recently. Looked orange in colour. A bit of a surprise when you’re chewing on salad and you hit something solid. I spit it out and didn’t think much more about it but I see why now. At least it isn’t a salmonella recall.

  4. I used my bag of salad, I picked out the piece of plastic I found in the bag.
It looked like a piece of the packages that come in the bag with all the condiments of the salad.
