Costco West Sales Items for Dec 4-11 for BC, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan

First of all – I am very excited to tell you that I have partnered up with a good friend on the East Coast who will be providing pictures for all the Eastern Canada Costco Stores! We will be posting every Monday with pictures and prices of in-store sales items!  Please share this post with your friends out East!

COSTCO EAST FAN BLOG – BRAND NEW BLOGGER!!!

The easiest way to get all the updates for the Costco East Fan Blog is to “like” the Facebook page here.  When the blog post is updated,  you will be automatically notified in the Facebook news feed.

FACEBOOK CONTEST UPDATE: Secondly, last week I ran a Facebook Contest where I will be picking two people randomly from the comments and giving away (2) $50 Costco Gift Cards.  Thanks to everyone that entered.  I had MANY more responses that I thought I was going to get and I’m still trying to read every one!  I have downloaded all the comments up until today and will be announcing a winner by the end of the week.  This weekend was a little busy as I was trying to get my snow tires on both of my cards before the snowstorm today!

There are no handout coupons again this week. But I counted 112 items on sale that are not advertised in store.  There are lots of products for entertaining on sale this week.  I was really intrigued about the Dyson Hot & Cool Heating Fan for sale.  I’m not sure I can justify buying a fan for $400 – but it looks like an incredible product!  Also, if you really need to bake this year – the Kitchenaid Stand Mixer is on sale.  Our family purchased this a while ago and I’m sure it has added a couple inches onto my waist.

A couple of clothing items of note, Ladies Hathaway Fleece Leggings are on sale – as well as Merino Blend (mostly polyester) Base Layer tops and bottoms for men and women.

Lindor Chocolates, Ferrero Rocher, Gudrun Petite Sensations, Baileys Liquor Truffles, and Lindt Connaisseurs Pralines are the chocolates on sale this week.

I grabbed some Normandie Brie Double Cream Cheese and Castello Extra Creamy Blue Cheese for entertaining.  I always grab some Tropicana when it goes on sale and throw a couple in the freezer!  Swiffer products are all on sale for those of you who have to spiff up the place before company.

Whiskas Cat food and Pedigree Dog food is on sale for those of you who are pet owners.

One thing to keep in mind when reading this blog is that sales items in the meat and produce section are store dependent – the manager sets the sales for these items.  For that reason, the chicken sales that you see this week (and last) may not be available at your store.  Also, any items on the blog that end in ‘.97’ means the item is on a clearance.  These ‘.97’ items are also store dependent.  If you are interested in one of these products you can check with customer service to see if any of the items is available at a nearby store!  If you purchased the product previously and it has gone on sale, if you bring in the original receipt and you have purchased the product withing 30 days (or longer, depending on the employee), Costco will refund you the difference!

Check out my post about Five ways to Save Money at Costco!!!

Use these posts to make the best use of your Costco Card! I have done all the hard work for you and have a weekly listings of all the Costco Sales Items and flyers. Costco does not publish these Costco sales items; the only way to find out what is on sale is to walk the whole store! Come back every Monday to find out what is on sale for the week. The sales may vary slightly by store, but are generally pretty consistent between Western Canada. If there is something you really want, please make sure to double check the expiry date as some of the Costco sales items have been known to end mid-week.

If this blog has helped you save money or has provided you with some entertainment, consider sharing cocowest.com with your friends and family! 1. I find it interesting that LD wrote “So many more pictures than the other guy who does it for money” on RFD. Now I don’t agree with Lonesomedove’s assessment because it’s doubtful you are making any “real” money once you factor your expenses and time (hey no one works for free). I find it strange that the current “RFD Costco west poster” does all of the leg work but all of the benefits and advertising dollars accrue to RFD. I am going to make an educated guess that the costco west and east blogs on RFD are one of the top traffic draws for RFD which helps their advertising rates. At least you have been upfront on what you’re trying to build and if you actually make a few bucks for all of the time you spent putting it togehter while being away from your family, well all the better. At least you know the deal and you’re not getting played!

  2. i just realized that you actually embed the price (taken as another photo) in the top left corner of each photo. wow that’s crazy dedication and a lot of work.

  3. Thanks so much for the hard work, I clicked on the ads!
Which costco did you go to? I went to the Richmond and Downtown Vancouver (BC) costcos and would love the timer for lights but can’t find it…if you can let me know that’ll be great!

Merry Christmas to you and your family 🙂

  4. Thanks again. I am always jealous when I see OJ Homestyle. Here in Winnipeg they only have the no pulp version. 🙁 But as always. Your blog is great. Thanks

  5. Thank you! Side note…you cannot put the fleece lined leggings in the dryer. That’s what makes them pill, and lose their “stuffing” so to speak! Learned that the hard way.

    • I think it might be the quality of that brand. I washed mine in cold water, gentle cycle and hung dry, but they still pilled. It’s not horrible, but you definitely notice it compared to the Paradox merino leggings.

Someone mentioned the Nicole Miller leggings, they might be worth a try.

    • Yes, they have the “winter holiday” themed paper plates, napkins and cups – one set has a gold-y colour outline of a reindeer, and the other was either a poinsettia flower or red tartan (can’t remember). Awesome deal for disposable plates and cutlery, I had previously purchased at Party City and ended up returning, except for their plastic cutlery as it was cheaper and had about half the pieces (which was all I needed).

  6. The Head gloves aren’t that great. I’ve had a pair for a couple years now, they don’t hold a lot of heat yet are bulky. Ended up finally replacing them this year with a far warmer pair from London Drugs of all places.

The Ferrero Rocher price is unbelievable, Walmart sells TEN for $11!!!

  7. Thank you for posting these deals. I’m a relatively new subscriber, but have already benefited from the info you post.

  8. Wow! Real commitment to go out yesterday in the snow! Thank You!
I have forwarded your East link to my relatives out that way. I’m sure they’ll appreciated it as much as I do!
And, knowing when the deals expire allows me to decide if I “have to have it” this week or can wait till next week !
    You’re awesome !

  9. The dry ribs were a sampler last week, pretty tasty! I have the Merino blend base layer shirt, I really like it.
    Thanks as always Tynan!

  10. Thank you , Costco is addicting and we have a brand new one 10 minutes away. Look forward to your posts every week, great job, thanks again!

  11. Thanks for this. I agree with a previous poster on the Hathaway leggings – mine pilled after the first wear and wash and looked so terrible that I couldn’t wear them again.

  12. Thank you for your post! You’ve helped save me time and tempted me to buy lots from Costco lol! I’ve shared your website with many friends and they all love it!

  13. Very excited to see your weekly finds! Thank-you so much! Glad to see the cat food this week, I have been waiting for the Cadbury hot chocolate to go on sale. And the best news was the Dyson fan. My cousin saw this at another store for $550 and was thrilled to get it for $379, now she can get a price adjustment of $50! Awesome!!!

  14. Great job as usual…good photos!
There’s a fake advertising on your site which states Joy is leaving The View to sell their skin care products….Joy has said these ads are nonsense. Buyer beware.

  15. Thank you again! I was at Costco today and didn’t see 1/2 of the items you did. You have a special talent searching the deals. I had to pick up a prescription today, going back tomorrow- **** weather pemitting ****

  16. Awesome awesome awesome!!! Thanks for taking the time to get us all these unadvertised specials. Saves me so much time since l hate going up and down the aisles. Keep up the great job! Drive safe!!!

  17. I bought the leggings last year and found them see through and start to pill after a short amount of time. Even with a size up they are sheer, maybe it was just mine.

Thanks for all the hard work!

    • I found both pairs in my first set got a run really quickly where the seem connects between the legs. Went back and exchanged. The next pairs did it again, although smaller. And I was being really gentle about putting them on without yanking on them.
However! For the price? I love love love them on a cold day walk, and just live with the little runs. I wear a long sweater or a long coat and they keep me nice and toasty. ??

    • Try the other brand of leggings they carry, the Nicole Miller Original ones. They’re not lined but they’re also not see through and don’t pill. I found mine only started to rip a little in the inner thigh area after a LOT of wear.

    • I find the merino wool leggings can be a tough sheer. I wear them as a middle layer cycling and you could see the faint print of my tights that I wore beneath them. They kept me warm for an hour long ride last winter. For that price (much cheaper than the Icebreaker brand) I didn’t mind.

I also bought the other pair of leggings and they pilled horribly – they didn’t run though. They’re warm and on the very cold rides out, I wore the merino underneath and the other brand on top.

    • The fleece leggings very specifically say not to put them in the dryer– I noticed this after I destroyed a set last year. Bought a second set– no dryer, still running strong a year later.
