Location: Port Coquitlam, BC Costco Warehouse
Hi Everyone,
Costco West Fan Blog has partnered with L’Oréal Paris to promote L’Oréal Paris Magic Root Cover Up. Big thanks to L’Oreal for supporting this blog and this week’s post! Magic Root Cover Up can be used to cover up roots or grey hairs between colourings and comes in dark brown or dark blonde! It is easy to use, lasts one shampoo and doesn’t change the texture of your hair. Read the whole review here: https://cocowest.ca/2020/06/contest-5-loreal-paris-magic-root-cover-up-review/
L’Oréal has provided us with a couple of great prizes to give away on Facebook. Visit the review to find out how to enter!
Today there were tons of items for sale. The coupons alone added up to about 100 items and there was a record over 230 items on this post! I spent a lot of money today and was able to stock up on Cheerios and Huggies Pull-Ups. I did see that they have Native Jefferson Shoes, but they are too big for my 2 year old. My hand is a little tired from all of this editing so I’ll leave the pictures here for today 🙂
I wanted to give everyone an update on the redesign of the blog since there has been quite a lot of progress! We’ve hired our developer & designer and have started work on the project. We are starting work on the new product search functionality, so you will be able to look up historical pricing and sales. After that we will be working on the redesign of the blog. Our goal is to get everything implemented in three months. I’m excited that this project is finally moving ahead and to see some increased functionality and navigability in the new format.
That being said, if you are looking to help me help support this new website upgrade, I have re-opened the “FOUNDERS” discount for the Early Access to the blog. The Early Access gives you access to the Monday posts on Monday afternoon instead of Tuesday Morning at a cost of $19.97 for one year (52 weeks). You will also have the option of signing up for a new customizable mailing list so you can choose to the updates you want. If you decide to purchase an Early Access Membership and use the discount code “FOUNDERS” before 2020-08-31, you will get $10 off your annual membership AND have that rate grandfathered forever!
Once you have signed up, to get the early pictures, just use your username and password at the following login: http://cocowest.ca/cocologin When you are signed in, you will be able to see the pictures as soon as they are published on Monday!
If you don’t sign up for Early Access, no problem! The blog is still free and will be available to everyone on Tuesday Morning at 5:00AM Pacific time.
Stay safe and remember to wash your hands with soap and water often!
A quick reminder that if you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, you should be self-isolating for 14 days. Each province has their own Health recommendations based on the provinces individual risk assessment and I would recommend that you follow the recommendations for your specific province. Information can be found at the following websites.
Miss Vickie’s Potato Chips Variety Pack, 36 x 24grams, $8.99, Mon. Jun 29 – Sun. Aug 2
GREAT price. Cost per gram is cheaper than buying the big bag size.
I went to Costco – Still Creek yesterday at about 5pm. There was approx 20 person lineup outside for returns and no lineup to enter for regular shopping. I went inside and the lineup for the cash register extended the entire length of the store and around to the back corner where the toilet paper is. Why isn’t Costco limiting people inside the stores anymore? What they did yesterday effectively moved the lineup from the outside to the inside of the store…and we are constantly being told by health officials that outside is safer than inside.
I’ve been seeing the messages about the membership. Does that mean if you don’t sign up for a The paid membership you will no longer see the sale items? And if so when is this effectivem.
I’ve noticed this as well. I found that the resolution is different from the thumbnail. I click on the photo to enlarge it, then the picture is clear enough to zoom in read the expiry date. Hope that helps!
Is it possible to take a clearer resolution picture so that the expiry dates can be more clearly visible? Or at least not fuzzy when I try to zoom in on it? I can’t seem to make out a lot of the expiry dates.
Good morning and thank you for all the work you do. It helps me tremendously in planning my trips to Costco each week. This one in particular there’s a lot of things on sale that I need, so thank you again.

Hi there,
This is a great site n helps so many people however several items have not been consistent at my Costco. I’m in Sherwood Park,Ab. Does anyone know why? Thanks
Most likely different Province. And even in the same province there are differences store to store I have found if he posts pictures from Langley Costco. I go to Abbotsford Costco and try to find some items they sometimes don’t have it 🙁 depends on store size if they can bring that item in
If you are referring to the pricing, it may be that the items are on sale at your location but the warehouse has not posted the correct signage. This has happened to me a few times at the West Edmonton location where the item was not showing any discount but when I scanned it through the till the discount showed up.
Not all Costco stores carry the same items, so you may have things I don’t, Burnaby will have stock more suited to that area, like flowers, Lethbridge had a few scraggly geraniums on sale last week, nothing in the flyer. It’s more to give you a good overview of what to look for than an item by item for every Costco store. Even with a few differences, I find it immensely helpful. I never go to town before seeing this, just in case I need to make a Costco stop. I get stuff on sale before I’m out to save $$.
Thank you so, so much for all the work that you do putting together these emails. I have found them incredibly helpful and have encouraged others to signup.
One thing I noticed on this post is that just before you put up the flier you have:
Costco Flyer & Costco Sale Items for Jun 22-28, 2020, for BC, AB, SK, MB
but the flier items state that they are for June 29 to Aug 2.
Just wanted to mention this as it might cause confusion.
Thank yoi again so much for all the work you do for us. I appreciate you.
Has anybody tried those nerf dog ball throwers? Are they decent? Are they same size as chuck it when we need replacement balls?
For that matter, at that price, it would be worth buying like five!
Cooper has a tendency to lose balls in the bottomless puddle at the dog park or try to take a drink in the river and they either float away or sink.
They are good quality, we haven’t had to replace a ball yet, though we don’t let our dog have them for chewing, just for playing. I will pick up another one or two at this price to store!

Thanks as always! Was the Silk almond milk refrigerated? Couldn’t find it anywhere at the Burnaby location.
Hi Daniella, yes the Silk was in the refrigerated aisle.

Just curious as to why some prices are in green.
Those are the items from the flyer 🙂
Is Costco open on Canada Day?
Costco is closed on Canada Day 🙂
Are they testing going to a US Costco model? (Large amount of on sale items for longer time period)
Oh my goodness! That is a lot of items on sale, no wonder your hand is sore from posting it all. Thank you very much!
Is it just me, or does the headline say June 22-28? I think the items are on sale for this week, but the headline doesn’t say that??
