Costco Flyer & Costco Sale Items for Aug 17-23, 2020, for BC, AB, SK, MB
Location: Port Coquitlam, BC Costco Warehouse
Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all doing well! There were lots of new sale items this week as well as quite a few clearance items (indicated by the $.97 price ending) More and more toys are coming into the store to get ready for the Christmas season. I spent so much today I went over my tap limit of $400.00. Hopefully I don’t have too many more of these this month, but it is hard when you go to Costco as much as me.
If you are lucky enough to have a Costco Gas station attached to your local Costco, between August 17 – 30, 2020 you will receive 4% cash back when you use your Capital One Costco-branded Mastercard to pay for gas.
I have re-opened the “FOUNDERS” discount for the Early Access to the blog. The Early Access gives you access to the Monday posts on Monday afternoon instead of Tuesday Morning at a cost of $19.97 for one year (52 weeks). You will also have the option of signing up for a new customizable mailing list so you can choose to the updates you want. If you decide to purchase an Early Access Membership and use the discount code “FOUNDERS” before 2020-08-31, you will get $10 off your annual membership AND have that rate grandfathered forever!
Once you have signed up, to get the early pictures, just use your username and password at the following login: http://cocowest.ca/cocologin When you are signed in, you will be able to see the pictures as soon as they are published on Monday!
If you don’t sign up for Early Access, no problem! The blog is still free and will be available to everyone on Tuesday Morning at 5:00AM Pacific time.
It looks like those sales expired early – on August 19. The expiry date of the sale is always listed on the price tag. Most sales go from Monday to Sunday; however, sometimes sales start and end mid-week.
Regarding STARBUCKS COLD BREW CONCENTRATE (IN TWO 1L CARTONS?), where is this usually found? Is it in a chilled area, or on a shelf? If so, what is it near? Other juices?
Regarding POST CRANBERRY ALMOND CRUNCH cereal, Superstore is price matching for PC Optimum members at $5.48 for the 1.1 kg box, while Costco is $6.99 for 1.4 kg box. Price per unit is the same. Costco use to have the edge when they use to offer a $2.50 instant savings for a final price of $6.49, but now they’ve lost the edge with only a $2 discount.
Just a tip in case that’s all you were going to buy and Superstore was closer to you than Costco.
Hi Sandy, we made a couple of fixes to the payment processing, but some problems have remained in the user’s local cache. It should fix itself in the next day or so, or you can manually delete your browsers cache, which will force your computer to download the newest version. That will fix the problem. Thank you for your interest in signing up!
Thanks for doing this every week. Sure helps with my shopping… Which Costco do you shop at? I couldn’t find a couple things at the Abbotsford store tonight.

Does anyone know if Costco has stopped carrying Woolite Dark Wash and Starbucks Cold Brew Concentrate (found on the shelves in two 1L cartons?) I have tried both stores in Saskatoon for many weeks now and have seen nothing and am wondering if any stores still have them.
Regarding PUMA MENS BOXER BRIEFS with performance mesh fabric (81% nylon, 13% elastane, 6% polyester), the briefs are, like the White House, a NO-FLY ZONE. *wink* You’ll need a plan B for that washroom trip.
For the info of folks in Calgary, I was at the Calgary South location this morning, and the Havarti Chees and Becel were not on sale at that location.
Also, the bagel spice that they had last week must have sold out, as there was none to be found. I hope it comes in again, as it’s very good – my wife made small pretzels and used the spice on top of them.
Hi there, not sure what you are seeing. The photos have been available to everyone since 5:00AM this morning. I know because I checked at 5:02AM since I was woken by my smoke alarm chirping because it was out of batteries.
Great post! Thanks so much. Wish I could find that hat in Lethbridge plus some of the other sale items ending in .97. We do have a gas station though and I have a Costco Mastercard so will be filling up for my 4% rebate.
I assume the pictures are being uploaded? Don’t see anything just yet. Also, I’ve noticed issues lately with using the menu button (hamburger icon) on mobile (both safari and chrome). I had to login by using the direct link.
I went to the Richmond Costco to buy the lean ground beef and veggies straws, however, they wete not in sale there, so disappointed.
Are all Costco in BC supposed to have to sane sale?

Has anyone used the gochujang sauce. I bought it but have no idea what to use it with.
Hoping those Klipsh earbuds are in the Abbotsford warehouse!

Can someone tell me if Costco is selling scientific calculators in their warehouse? If so, how much are they? Thanks.
There is a calculator in my previous back to school post here: https://cocowest.ca/2020/07/costco-summer-aisle-2020-superpost-back-to-school-supplies-books-dvds/
