Costco Flyer & Costco Sale Items for Jan 18-24, 2021, for BC, AB, SK, MB
Location: Willingdon, BC Costco Warehouse
Hi Everyone!
I hope you are all doing well! We are trying to take advantage of the nice weather over here and spending as much time outside as we can. This week there were A LOT of items back on sale. If you haven’t had a chance to try the Rao’s Marinara Sauce. It is more expensive than regular sauces, but I love it! I also picked up a couple of huge papayas, some Roasted Seaweed, some Fish Crackers, some Charmin, Cascade, Sanitex Hand Wipes, Cheerios… so well, yes my bill was over $300.
I was really interested in the UItz Pork Rinds and Dried Dragonfruit, but my cart was already pretty full. Anyways, over here it looks like there may be some snow and cold over here so stay safe everyone!

Premier Protein is on sale from Feb 1st to the 28th $8.00 off Reg:$36.99 Sale: $28.99. Not sure though if this is for Exec Members only or will be a warehouse sale available to all shoppers
Having been recently diagnosed as Type 2 Diabetic, I really appreciate when you are able to show the Nutrition Content of food items. Keep up your good work & thank you so much.
Michelle: The twin mattress toppers are $40 OFF on Costco. ca, so I would imagine they are also on sale in the warehouse. BUT I would probably phone the store first to make sure they have the twin size in stock, because they do not list “twin” size on their coupon page.
I got a coupon book in the mail today & it says the Premier Protein is $8 off per case February 1 to 28th. Warehouse price is $36.99-$8 = $28.99 18 x 325ml
We love the cauliflower tempura done in the air fryer. Tried also baking and they get crunchy both ways! I make my own sauce since I’m vegan I believe this has honey in it 🙂
I didn’t know we can do price adjustments. I should’ve done that long time ago, didn’t know 🙁
Thank you! I’m always on a lookout of vegan products on sale in your posts! Appreciate it a lot!
@Barbara, lately some of the tropical fruits like Papaya and Pomegranates are not ripe. I don’t know who’s doing the quality control and ordering for the Costco West region, but I encourage you all to visit Costco online and send a message to Customer Service if you’re not satisfied.
As always, don’t be hesitant to return the items including perishable items such as produce. Because the more people who return (not just provide feedback) the more likely the item will be replaced by another buyer. And there’s many suppliers competing to be part of Costco’s “family”.
If anyone looking for “Jayone seasoned seaweeds” at Surrey location, they don’t carry it……. Only Kirkland usual big package. But Langley is carrying. I’m heading there next time.
This package is 5g, so good snack size for lunch. 36 in the box! Usually 24 in a box when I buy T n T or superstore. The Kirkland is too much and only good at home to share or ziplock to keep fresh.
Thanks for this! I have to leave a review on the papaya… great price for sure but… I bought one, it had yellow on about 1/3 of it so it looked like a good one, but it was so hard and had very little sweetness… it was more like a vegetable than a papaya. Something is definitely wrong with it, I don’t know if it was frozen and then shipped, but I’ve never had such a bad papaya as this. I cut up the whole thing so I won’t be retuning, as I’ve gotten agro in the past for not bringing the product in when asking for a return. Hope others have better luck.
@Mariko @JB
I have done many price adjustments and they are usually very nice about it, even on multiple receipts! They told me price adjustments can be done within 30 days. I have even done some on day 30!
Mariko Wakefield / JB: I have had price adjustments more than 2 weeks after and had no problem. A couple of times I have received a survey from Costco asking for feedback on the return process. Things like ease of return, attitude of person etc.
@Nadyne Alaric – the tempura cauliflower is amazing. We tried it a few weeks ago, and then went back and bought a couple more boxes. It’s become a new favourite. Not on sale this week, but the tempura shrimp nests were amazing too and I’ll buy those on sale for sure!
I read a review on Costco cuisine & it noted that the cauliflower was mushy. Iwas turned off of the product by the word mushy! However you can go to Natalie‘s website to read the full review.
@mariko I do price adjustments often.
That’s what they’re there for!
Mostly they’re very nice about it… and say this.
Once in a while someone’s grumpy about it, but that’s on them 🙂
The price adjustments need to be done within 2 weeks though.
I quite liked the tempura cauliflower . Don’t have anything to compare it to other than a Japanese restaurant but i thought quite tasty. Just my 2 bits
Pork rinds are factually, scraping the skin off a pig with a huge cheese grater and deep frying it. There are many, many, many more tasty things out there that won’t shut your heart down 30 years too early.
The pork rinds are delicious but Im sure they have zero nutritional value. I try not to look at that Nutritional Facts panel. Thank you for all your work. No Boots cameo this week?
Hi, I have a question about the Nova Foam Soothing Cool Mattress topper if anyone knows … is this for people who tend to feel too warm when they sleep? The topper cools down the bed?
Does anyone know if the Hellmann’s mayo is still on sale at the Langley store because last week’s postings which were taken from Langley store showed their expiry sale price as the 17th not the 22nd that this store has?
I have a few price adjustments for things I bought last week and the week before. They are on a few receipts. I am scared to be a pain in their side to ask for this, how mad will they be? It’ll total over 30 bucks, which for me will go a long way.
Can I please get some information on what a “price adjustment” is and what’s involved?

Thank you Linda, I see that this happens from time to time as well as different stock from store to store. Somewhat frustrating.

411794 GOLDEN GRILL RUSSET HASHBROWN 3x 119 g EXPIRY DATE: 2021-01-31 $6.99
These weren’t on sale at the Edmonton Winterburn location.
@A Is it the same size as the one on the picture? How many were there? I will go pick one up if it is just $49.99 for that big size.
Do the floor mats have anti slip backing?

Kirby, do you also feed your dog grade AAA beef sirloin steak from Costco at $24.99 kilogram? I need to become your dog. Lol.

They do these returns all the time,I wouldn’t worry at all.

The S shaped bonsai is marked incorrectly, or maybe I lucked out?! I purchased that plant on Sunday for $49.99 @ Nisku location.
The pork rinds are actually dog treats
Mariko Wakefield
They won’t mind at all! I do it all the time and they have always been polite.
Papayas contunue to ripen if uncut (like a banana or avocado) patience is key!

Love the cauliflower especially if you have an air fryer to cook it in. Just like a Japanese restaurant tempura. Great buy right now too.

Hi – I’ve had the tempura cauliflower. It’s very doughy and not that flavourful. Would not recommend buying.

Any one know is twin size matress toppers are on sale too
Hi Michelle, unfortunately, there was no tag on the twin mattress toppers, so I wasn’t able to tell if those were on sale.
Any idea when premier protein drinks will go on sale?
They are great if you are on keto or a low carb diet to use as a cracker or even to blend up and use as a replacement for bread crumbs
Anyone have a review of the tempura cauliflower?

Don’t worry. Costco is wonderful about returns and price adjustments. I’ve done it many times. They want to keep their customers coming back.

Thank you as always. Stay safe.
