There were lots of items this week, but I was really excited to see snack packages of Cheez-Its for sale. I hope this product does not disappear too soon.

Costco Flyer & Costco Sale Items for July Sep 6-12, 2021, for BC, AB, SK, MB
Thank you so much for this blog. I read it ever week and look at what might be on sale. It is not always on sale where I am, but it is great to use it as a guide.
Any idea when the wet cat food might come on sale again? I have not seen it on sale for a long time. I think over a year.
Also I have been waiting for the Kirkland gummy vitamins to come on sale. Did I miss them over the summer?
Like most people, we all learned from the media how Capital One will no longer be the credit card of choice with Costco Canada. I personally think Costco Canada has been making terrible decisions, especially with selecting Capital One Costco Mastercard (which incidentally is administered differently (worse) than their non Costco version. I remember clearly the many issues with them that lasted for a few years. Why can’t we have one card — Mastercard or Visa? Both USA and Canada initially had Amex.
Now, we have CIBC Mastercard taking over which seems to be all hype than offering members rewards similar to Amex and Costco Citibank Visa in the USA. The US Costco Visa gives members much better rewards of up to 4% cashback, The Canadian equivalent is horrible. We use another Mastercard that gives us at least 1% cash back consistently (no minimum spending) and more.
Again, Costco (Canada) isn’t thinking about us, their members, but themselves. CIBC Mastercard (they used to be Visa only) obviously had lower financial fees for Costco, that’s why Costco chose them. But, Costco didn’t want to go with CIBC Visa, for consistency, they went with CIBC Mastercard even though it wouldn’t be any difference from a POS (Point of Sale) terminal cost. It would just require a new IP address. Anyway, I’m not looking forward to having to go through a credit check et al. just to get the CIBC Costco Mastercard. I’ll just use my membership card I have in my Costco App.
I for one am glad to see Capital One is leaving, But like yourself, I wish it had been Visa taking over. It would then be one card for Canada and the USA how nice that would be. I hope that CIBC gives you a decent account limit that you can use to purchase trips through Costco. Capital One wouldn’t even listen to you or even raise your limit even if you had a perfect credit rating. Visa is still the way to go Costco
BOOTS! What a gorgeous coat he has!! I clicked his price history button half-expecting pics of his previous poses Thank you for your dedication to all us Costco groupies!!
I like the capabilities of this site but I do not like searching for the sign in. I think I’ve clicked on the link to sign in only to go to another page where I have to click to sign in and then click on “more” in a sentence. I found the old way more user friendly.
