That’s It Fig Truffles Review

Last week on the blog I reviewed the Costco Kirkland Signature Chilled Seasoned St.Louis Ribs, Costco Imuraya Frozen Azuki Bars and the Costco Kirkland Signature Beef Chili.

If you like my reviews for Costco food products, the best thing is that you can follow me on Instagram or Facebook and tell your friends about my blog Costcuisine, where I review new Costco food products each week! You can also check out my YouTube channel, where I do video reviews!

I have a friend who’s following a dairy-free, gluten-free diet so I picked up these truffles for her to try with me!

I paid $16.99 Canadian for the 567-gram bag of truffles which in my opinion is pretty expensive but what isn’t expensive these days?

The bag reseals which will help keep the chocolates fresh in the pantry. The expiry date is almost two years from when we purchased them. They’re a product of the USA.

In three truffles there are 70 calories, one gram of fat, 16 grams of carbohydrates, four grams of fibre, 11 grams of sugar, one gram of protein and zero milligrams of sodium. The truffles are Non-GMO, fair trade certified, gluten-free, vegan and organic.

I wouldn’t buy these again. The quality of the chocolate doesn’t seem outstanding and I’m not sure I love the combination of dark chocolate and fig. The flavor doesn’t even really taste like fig in my opinion. The center is almost a jelly and the texture just doesn’t pair well with the hard, crunchy chocolate. The few people I offered these too also didn’t enjoy them.

Cost: 4/10

Convenience: 10/10

Nutrition: 9/10

Taste: 6/10
