Costco Flyer & Costco Sale Items for Aug 3-9, 2020, for BC, AB, SK, MB

Location: Langley, BC Costco Warehouse

Hi Everyone,

I hope everyone was able to enjoy the long weekend.  Our family spent the weekend up in Squamish – we have really enjoyed spending the last couple months up there and have found some nice places to spend our time that are quiet no matter how nice it is outside!

I ended up getting back a little late so his post is a little later than usual.  There were also many more items on sale than usual – almost 200 items this week.  There is a long list of Temporary Price Discounts that last throughout the month of August, so there is not rush to go in.

**Please look at the dates on some of the sales.  Some of them end early throughout the week.  I was happy that the monitor that I purchased last month went on sale for $70.00 off.  I was able to get a refund of $78 dollars – the monitor was purchase just under a month ago and all I brought with me was my receipt!

I’ve got to get dinner going.  Have a great week everyone!

Happy Shopping!

  1. Any ideas on when the “sale” on the provolone sliced cheese ends? There’s a glare on the date in the photo. It’s the 620g package. Thank you…and I really love this blog!

  2. Some duplicate pics showing up. I noticed you no longer include a pic of the nutritional label. Is that temporary?

Oh, those PC prices and specs are laughable. The current “trend” for a Windows desktop is a minimum of 16 GB of RAM — 24 GB recommended unless you plan to upgrade in a year. Like with many things, you pay more but get less than before. Pity.

    • Hi Sammy, sometimes the products are located twice in areas throughout the store. I try to edit the ones that I notice, but sometimes I’ll miss a couple. I used to include nutritional labels, but my wife told me that I wasn’t allowed to touch items I was not purchasing… if the Covid-19 situations changes, I’ll start including the nutritional ingredients again!

      • Could you not use the old image of the product from your files and just use that image with the current price picture? Often, just having the one good, complete photo saved to use is the best way to go. Unless of course they change sizes and ingredients…

        • Hi Lauri! Thanks for the suggestion! I actually tried that, but when I’m in the store, it is hard to remember which items of which I have a photo. I then have to manually find the photo and match it up to the price tag and not to mention all the times the product boxes or quantity changes. It ended up being easier to just take a new photo of the product.

Stay tuned though! There are some big changes coming!

  3. TheKeto nuggets are delicious. I was surprised at how good they are. The chocolate just melts in your mouth and the coconut is roasted and tastes sort of like graham wafers.
Thank you for this blog by the way!

  4. Thank you for all your work!
The Charmin toilet paper packaging says the rolls are wider. They are not. There are seven squares less per roll, which means one less roll per package of 30. They also seem to be thinner. On top of that, the price has gone up by $2.00 per package.

  5. Thank you very much for all your time & work spent on this blog!
A couple of weeks ago, someone was looking for the MARIO/LUIGI remote cars. If you are still looking, there was quite a few at the Brighton Ave. (Burnaby) location on Monday the 3rd.
    $73.99

  6. Thanks for all the work you do every week for us! You really complicate my life!! An aside- has anyone seen the Kirkland brand disinfecting wipes at their Costco? I thought they’d bring them back but Lethbridge for sure never got them back in!

  7. Thank you so much for doing this every week? Any chance you’ve seen the Kirkland beach chairs recently in the Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley? I think I waited way too long…

  8. I swear the sandwich loaves of bread are smaller! I’m glad someone else has noticed the downsizing on products.

  9. Thank you Tynan. Start watching sizes on Kirkland products as I got the shredded cheese and the package is smaller than before. So Costco is starting to downsize products and charge the same price for them.

    • I have to agree. In my case the chicken strips that were on sale last week are usually $19.99 per pack so I was thrilled to see a $4 discount but then noticed it was priced $21.99 so really only a savings of $2.

    • I disagree. The packaging is smaller but I have both sizes at home (I had frozen one). They’re both the same in weight.
