Hi it’s Natalie from the Costco food and product review fan blog  Costcuisine! If you like my reviews for Costco food products the greatest thing you can do is follow me on  Instagram or Facebook and also tell yours friends about my blog Costcuisine where I review tons of Costco food products each week!  In the last week I reviewed the Costco La Terra Fina 2-Pack Quiche, NoSugar Company Keto Bombs and the Costco SnackYard Crispy Cauliflower

I love trying the various and unique sauces that Costco offers and I’ve previously reviewed the Culinary Treasures Roasted Garlic and Chili Aioli from Costco so when I saw Costco had a chipotle aioli by the same company last time I was there I decided to pick it up to review.

Cost

I paid $7.99 Canadian for the two-pack of 750 ml squeezable containers of the chipotle aioli.

Convenience

The chipotle aioli is really versatile! After tasting it I decided it goes well with sweet potato or regular fries, sandwiches, burgers, or even as a veggie dip. The best before date is over a year from the date we purchased it and you need to refrigerate the aioli after using it.

Nutrition

This isn’t a low-calorie sauce at all. One tablespoon is 100 calories, 10 grams of fat, one gram of sugar, 95 mg of sodium, zero grams of fibre and one gram of carboydrates. That’s a lot of fat and calories in one tablespoon considering I easily eat two or three with fries! The ingredients also aren’t the healthiest.

Taste

I think I like this better than the roasted garlic and chili aioli! It’s got a delicious smoky chipotle flavor and also has a moderate amount of heat. I usually don’t love a lot of spice and I wouldn’t call this aioli mild but for some reason I enjoyed the heat.  There’s a very mild sweetness coming from the flavor of the smoked chili peppers and the sauce is creamy and smooth. Just a small amount has a ton of flavor so I found I only needed a tiny bit of dip on each fry. Both my husband and I enjoyed this aioli but if you’re not a fan of chipotle you probably won’t love the flavor.

I would definitely buy this again, I appreciate how versatile it is and I love the smoky, spicy chipotle flavor.

What’s your favorite sauce to purchase from Costco? Is there a sauce Costco used to carry that you wish they’d bring back?
