Costco West Sales Items for January 22-28, 2018 for BC, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan
Hi Everyone!
Thanks for visiting! I walk the Whole Costco Warehouse every Monday take pictures of all the exciting sales items to save YOU time! Come back every Monday for updates!
Every time I visit Costco, there seems to be something on sale for me to pick up… and I’ve been doing this for YEARS! I’m really curious as to whether anyone has a review of the Ecos Liquid Dish Soap. I’ve been using their Laundry Detergent for years and I currently use Cascade Gel for the Dishes. I’d be interested in hearing anyone’s opinion, especially because it is on sale this week!
The Bushnell 8 X 42mm Binoculars are on clearance for $49.97. This is a great deal for anyone who can find one at their store! I think these were about $80 dollars regular price. I loaded up on some Cheerios as we seem to go through a box pretty quickly now. What else did I get? Some milk, Grapeseed oil and Pace Thick and Chunky Salsa and Sweet Potato Fries. Yum.
Just a reminder to everyone, you can now sign up for Loblaw’s $25 gift card that they are giving out to adults 18+ who have purchased bread at a participating store between 2002 and 2015. To find out more about the class action lawsuit go here: https://cocowest.ca/free-25-loblaw-card/
According to the terms of the deal, signing up for the gift card does not disqualify you from claiming a settlement from one of the many class action lawsuits, however any settlement will be adjusted for the $25 gift card.
DIAPERS AND WIPES SALE UPDATE: For those of you keeping track – If we go by last year:
Kirkland Baby Wipes were on sale from January 23-29,
Huggies Wipes went on sale from January 30 – February 5.
Kirkland Formula (and Kirkland Baby Wipes) went on sale from February 27 – March 5.
Huggies Pull-ups went on sale from February 27 – March 12.
Huggies Diapers went on sale from March 6-12.
This is no means a guarantee of when things go on sale – it is just something to keep in mind when you are planning on purchasing your next set of diapers.
The outlet remotes were sold out before Christmas. They were in the seasonal section around Halloween (that’s when I bought mine for the Christmas tree). Went back to get one for a friend around Christmas and they were no longer in stock ☹.
Thanks so much for these posts.
I was also looking for the Bodum French press but wasn’t able to find it at the Langley location. Has anyone seen them in any other Lower Mainland location?
Thank you for your posts as always! I’m curious what location you go to when you do your posts? I’d love to get my hands on the Bodum French Press, but they didn’t have it at my local Costco. I’m just curious if you live remotely close to me 🙂
I went to the Victoria (Langford) location and was also unable to find the Bodum French press or the outlet remotes (although I didn’t look as hard for those). Not a knock on the blog – I appreciate the work that goes into it and understand every location is different – just trying to save someone else time if they try to head to the Victoria location in search of these! 🙂

Great sales this week, a lot of stuff we want. Thanks as usual! Also your pictures are much better than those that are posted at that other place, kudos!
We had to have a plumber in to unplug the kitchen sink. He told us it the dishwasher pods that caused the blockage. The white powder in the pods forms a paste and builds up in the pipe. He told us to use only liquid dishwasher soap never pods. He recommended every couple of months at night before going to bed boil a pot of water and wait until there is no more bubbles then add 1 cup vinegar and 1 cup baking soda and pour down the drain. Leave this until the morning then pour hot water down. The cost was 500.00 to unplug the pipe but he told us he had just done another pipe and it reqired a lot more work and special equipment and the cost was just over 2,000.00. I recommend liquid dishwasher soap not pods.
My dad was a plumber, but he died before the tabs were invented. I did, however, pick up lots of tips from him over the years, as to what should NEVER be poured down the sink etc. I use the tabs, no problem at all. I’ve unblocked the sinks numerous times (my mum dumped stuff down the kitchen sink like we had a disposal….never did!!). No grease, batter etc., flush it instead. Use a “catcher” in the sink hole. Don’t flush kitty litter stuff (had to talk a former co-worker thru how to unplug with boiling water), tampons etc. Use a catcher in the laundry tub if your washer drains that way, and I’ve just added an additional mesh catcher to the drain hose, and am amazed as to the amount of lint it’s caught. As to the Baking soda & vinegar, I do the laundry tub, kitchen sink, bathtub drain, & hand basin EVERY 2 months. Pour 1 cup BS, follow with 1 cup vinegar (just buy the no name at Superstore in the 4 L) & leave, min of 1 hour, longer if poss. Boil the kettle & pour – aim straight down the drain. Careful not to splash yourself. Don’t use chemical drain cleaners, not only do they eat pipes, my dad had a co-worker go blind. He went to unblock someone’s drain, asked them if they’d used one, they denied, & it splashed in his eyes.
which costco do you go to for the pictures?
i’ve been looking for that HP printer and can’t find it in the costco’s i’ve gone to (richmond, langley, willingdon, etc)
thanks!
consider calling them before you go to ensure they have it in stock. I usually select the admin staff option because membership / return never answer the phone.
Thanks so much for your blog! It’s helped us save. I’ve noticed to keep track of baby items and when they went on sale last year. Do you happen to have a record of when the Dyson stick vacuum went on sale last year? Thanks again!
I love the eco dish soap and have used it for years. I find that it doesn’t suds up like most soap because it doesn’t have sodium laurel sulfate in it or any other kind of crap additive that allows it to suds up. It’s more natural than regular soap. If you want suds i just turn my faucet to spray and spray around the sink and it will suds up. I don’t use three times as much like someone else said. You just have to get past the mentality that you NEED suds. As for the grease I don’t cook with a lot of greasy things. But I’ve never had issues cleaning my pans with coconut oil or butter in them. You can add vinegar if you needed to clean greasy. I guess it’s just a matter of donyou want the extra chemicals in regular detergent? I find eco is one of the few soaps I can find that doesn’t have the sodium lauryl sulfate in it. And it’s one of the few that my extremely sensitive skin can tolerate. I’m so happy Costco sells it now!!
Anyone know if the remote control outlets on clearance for $9.97 are available at any of the Edmonton (preferably south) or surrounding area (st. Albert, Sherwood park) locations?
I bought the 3 pack of eco dish soap awhile back also on sale and hated it. I had to use a lot of pumps and the suds never lasted and never cleaned grease off as good as Dawn.
Thank you so much for your years of hard work, I have been following you since the beginning. Hopefully my review helps.
The Bushnell binoculars are not only of low quality but lack 10x zoom which makes a huge difference especially at public events. Instead, buy your binoculars from Canadian Tire when on sale.
It’s nice to see the ribs are on sale again but in our household we need to buy several of them because they’re not filling.

for those of you interested, the Fischer Fuse Skis are now $199.97 (reg. 289) and the Motion Skis are 249.97 (reg 389)
Thanks so much for these posts.

they dont have them either at the Vancouver downtown location

Thanks for this review. Always trying to avoid SLS so will try this! I don’t need bubbles!
Good morning
Thank you for your weekly posting, now I have to see your posting before I go to Costco.
Anyone know if the remote control outlets on clearance for $9.97 are available at any of the Edmonton (preferably south) or surrounding area (st. Albert, Sherwood park) locations?
I’m going this morning and can check for you.
Sorry; I forgot to say I’m going to the Edmonton south location.
I don’t see them anywhere here. I asked one person and she had no idea but I did walk up and down every aisle on bay side of the store. Sorry!
Thanks for continuing to post. I’ve set a weekly reminder to check your site and the deals you’ve posted.
Thank you again for posting the sales.
Also…save on foods is also offering $25 for the brad price fixing.

Thank you so much for this. It helps my family every week!

Thank you for your review on dish soap.
I’ve never used that and was going to buy.
But I won’t. Thank for saving my money on that!
Yes, that dishsoap isn’t not good. I bought it once thinking it was a great deal but ended up going through it 2/3 times faster than dawn.

Flannel sheet set!!!!! I’ve been waiting for over a year for a good sale on those! (Please be in nice colours…)
Wondering when the Cheerios expire? I can’t see the date clearly.
Thank you?
instead of being grateful your wondering when the Cheerios expire?? are your serious???!???
No need for the rude response! I’m very thankful for this blog and the work that goes into it. Was just asking a question Bob!
When I Zoom into the picture, I’m pretty sure it says Feb 4th.
I found I used 3 times or more of the EOS soap than dawn.
Can you tell me till when the EOS dishsoap is on sale. I can’t read it. Thanks!
Hi Hetty, I believe it says February 4.
