West Costco Sales Items for June 27 – July 3, 2016 for BC, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan

West Costco Sales Items for June 27 – July 3 for BC, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan

There were lots of items again this week!!!  I noticed that there was lots of household furniture that is on sale.  I made sure to include them in the blog as Costco Furniture generally very good value (the ability to return furniture is a bonus if you aren’t satisfied with your purchase).  I will include these items when I see them go on clearance in a month or two.

One thing to keep in mind when reading this blog is that sales items in the meat and produce section are store dependent – the manager sets the sales for these items.  For that reason, the chicken sales that you see this week (and last) may not be available at your store.  Also, any items on the blog that end in ‘.97’ means the item is on a clearance.  These ‘.97’ items are also store dependent.  If you are interested in one of these products you can check with customer service to see if any of the items is available at a nearby store!  If you purchased the product previously and it has gone on sale, if you bring in the original receipt and you have purchased the product withing 30 days (or longer, depending on the employee), Costco will refund you the difference!

Some items that I noticed were on sale this week are the Castrol Edge Synthetic Motor Oil.  I’m not sure what the regular price is on this though, but it looks like it is on special.

The Skotidakis Tzaziki and the Danesborg Havarti are on sale – carried over from last week.  Gatorade is on sale as well!  Kirkland Paper Towels are on for $13.99 ($3.00 savings) which is the best price I have seen the on sale for a while!  Pinty’s Salt & Pepper Wings are on sale as well as Sun Tropics Coconut Water.  Munchies are on sale, but I’m not allowed to buy these giant packs anymore (they don’t last long in our house).  Swift Premium Cooked Ham is on sale – didn’t know there was a large enough market for this!  Christie Ritz Crackers and Breadsticks and Cheese are on sale too!  There seems to be a new Protein Powder made by Kaizan called Kaizan Naturals Whey Isolate Protein.  If anyone has any reviews on this product I would love to hear them.  The Protein Powder is regular priced, but I though I would include this new product on the blog.

Happy Shopping!

Check out my post about Five ways to Save Money at Costco!!!

Use these posts to make the best use of your Costco Card! I have done all the hard work for you and have a weekly listings of all the Costco Sales Items and flyers. Costco does not publish these Costco sales items; the only way to find out what is on sale is to walk the whole store! Come back every Monday to find out what is on sale for the week. The sales may vary slightly by store, but are generally pretty consistent between Western Canada. If there is something you really want, please make sure to double check the expiry date as some of the Costco sales items have been known to end mid-week.

  1. Thank you so much for this. We look forward to seeing it every week. I have passed it along to many of my friends and they look forward to it as well. Great job.

  2. I appreciate this SO MUCH! I live an hour away from the closest costco so your blog saves me a lot of time and money!

  3. Thanks so much for putting these up every week. It really helps plan our Costco trips.

For Costco food court fans (I’m one of them), the Still Creek location now has chicken wings (fried). Not sure on the others as this is mainly the one we go to though I’m sure they’ll have it also.

It was $6.99 for 1 lb. There was also a larger size but I don’t 100% recall the price ($20.99 for 3lbs I think).

  4. Do you have any insight into when Kraft peanut butter goes on sale? We stock up when it is but haven’t seen on sale it for a while.

    Thanks!

    • Hi there, I don’t work for Costco and I have no idea when or why things go on sale when they do. If I did – you can be assured that I would post that information for all of you!

      • Thanks, I was hoping there was a pattern and they go on sale once every six months or so. I’ll keep watching. Thanks for your posts!

        • The thing about Kraft peanut butter is that everybody carries it and everybody puts it on sale from time to time, at prices not far from Costco’s price. eg Sobeys/Safeway has it on sale this week for $3.99/1 kg. I’ve seen good pricing somewhere on the larger jars in the past, maybe at Superstore. Costco may have lost interest in having sales on it because their sale price doesn’t stand out enough from the competition’s sale price.

    • The best thing to do (takes some time but worth it) is to go through ALL previous week’s sale posts to look for the item…I’ve done that for items that go on sale rarely, like Kirkland baby wipes. I’ve determined they go on sale in August and January!

  5. Thanks again for your posts!

For any bakers out there who are interested in the Sunblest Almond flour, regular price was 29.99 and it has been marked down to 19.99. Huge saving! The expiry date is the same May 2017 at a couple locations I’ve been to.

  6. As others, I too look forward to your weekly post. Looked for the olive oil at two stores last week and neither had it… Wonder if others have experienced the same thing? I checked the Burnaby & Richmond stores – am thinking of trying again this week – what a great price for olive oil!!!

    • I was at the Surrey Costco yesterday and they had the olive oil. Expiry date is Aug 2016 and limited quantities remaining.

FYI downtown location did not have it either.

    • Not sure if you’re aware (and for other shoppers), if you want to save yourself from visitng several stores to look for an item, you can call the store and give them the item # and ask if they can check their store inventory. They can also check the inventory at other stores. Just a tip 🙂 Simetimes I like visiting other stores to kill time. I have 5 located in my area!

  7. Thank you … really appreciated :). Also, I like the items repeated when they sale continues for the following week, just like you have done it is great!

  8. Thanks.

Just because something was posted last week doesn’t mean I saw it or it needed it then. Keep on posting however you want. It’s your site and much appreciated.

  9. I look at this every Monday. It’s the only subscribed email I look forward to and stay subscribed to.
I clicked on the google banner ad to support the fan page! Thanks for doing this every week!

  10. Just to let you know, the Kaizen protein powder is NOT a new product, just new packaging. I have been buying it for years.

  11. Not to knock the posting, but just an FYI, home depot has 4-pack of propane cylinder for $14.97 + tax.
Benzomatic brand vs Coleman, I don’t know the difference, propane is propane to me.

    https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/p.4-pack-camping-gas.1000739380.html

I was walking about of Costco, having already paid for the propane canisters, when a lady stopped me to ask how much they were and mentioned that she had got some at homedepot for cheaper, ~$16. Unfortunately I already bought it, and couldn’t be bothered to wait in line to return and go to homedepot to get it, as I was already in a rush.

    • The point of the blog is to post Costco weekly sale items and seasonal items. Not to compare and contrast pricing at other stores – especially when it is a different brand.

      Just my .02

      • I find it helpful when others point out items that are cheaper elsewhere. I do think Coleman is going to cost you extra, just because you’re paying for the brand, but when it comes to camping gas, I think it is all the same stuff.

  12. Really appreciate that you take the time to do this. I like that it’s not always just the sale items- that you also include other items that aren’t regularly carried. Your post determines if I make the 45 minute trek to Costco or not so thank you!!

  13. Thank you for your post every week. It is greatly appreciated. I do like to see the repeats from the previous week as it gives me the chance to grab an item if I missed it the previous week.

  14. Thanks so much for this. Last week there was just a couple of things I wanted so I didn’t go. Glad to see they are still on sale as I forgot about them and now the trip is really worth it.

  15. I just want to say thank you for doing this. I’m a new subscriber and I look forward to this every week. I notice that not only do you take a pic of the item that is on sale, you make sure that each item is facing the front and one faces the back so we could see the nutritional facts. You’re amazing. Thank you!

  16. As always we thank you for your post .

I don’t think the barbeque items like the Portable barbeque in the large propane tanks are on sale . Not sure why they are posted. I don’t end in 97 and has no discount offer .

I’m not sure how the average person cannot pick up those large items like furniture less of course costco has an instorw delivery option.

Like last week many repeated items are on sale this week too. As a Suggestion to save yourself some time, maybe it would be best if repeat items are not posted each week.

    • Personally, I don’t go to Costco every week, so I like seeing the repeat items. It’d be a pain if I had to go back and look at the previous weeks to try and spot which items might still be on sale this week.

As for the furniture, I have a truck as do many shoppers. No problem for me to pick up my large items as I’ve done many times. Costco employees will give you a hand loading it if you ask. You’re on your own once you get home of course.

My suggestion to you is to skip over the stuff that doesn’t interest you and consider that it may be of interest to others like myself.
