Hi Everyone!
I hope you are all doing well! This is actually Part 3 of the photos that I took at my Bellingham Costco. If you want to find out about what you need to do a daytrip to Bellingham by car, or see the hundreds of perishable food items that are not available here in Canada, visit this post here:

I was probably just as excited to shop for the non-food items at Costco as I was for the food I can’t get here in Canada. The Kirkland Signature Dog toys were hilarious, the Costco puzzle was in stock too! I picked up long underwear for the whole family as well as an infant snowsuit so we can all go sledding together. There are quite a few Fitbits that look different than what they sell in Canada too!. Finally, I even noticed that the Scotch Tape had a different fancy-looking clip and twist dispenser that we don’t get here in Canada.
Anyways, enjoy these photos!
Happy Shopping!
PART 2: Non- Perishable Food Items
At the BC Border Pacific crossing, CBSA were giving out covid test kits and requiring you to follow the mandatory instructions.
Also, they have tightened up and even as low as $200 without any alcohol or tobacco people are being sent in.
Most people don’t have their paperwork in order when they are returning with less than 72 hours in the US. This is resulting in extremely long delays. I suggest you follow up in a future post
Thank you for all your hard work to bring us this information!
I have one request: would it be possible to put in the description somewhere that it is from the US? I just did a search for something to compare a price and came up with one of these items. I wasn’t aware it was from your US trip until I clicked on the item & it took me to this post.
Looks like we will need an update on November 30.
We need to provide verification that we have only been out of the USA for less than 72 hours:
[This exemption is only for trips originating in Canada taken by fully vaccinated Canadian citizens, permanent residents or individuals registered under the Indian Act, who depart and re-enter by land or by air and .] https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/news/2021/11/adjustments-to-canadas-border-and-travel-measures.html
Do you have to do covid test before and after your daytrip?
I did one test in Canada before my trip. The test results are valid for 72 hours from when your sample is taken.
Thanks so much for all three posts! I’m glad you went down and not me ……I’d be totally broke by now as I’m going through US costco withdrawal just by browsing your posts!! Thanks, as always, for taking the time and also for providing a price history
Hmmmm, RE: “The Costco puzzle about shopping at Costco”: something you can be aggravated at completing, reminding you how aggravating it is to shop at Costco on a weekend! 😉 Anyway, thanks for taking the time to do that trip and photos, your efforts are always above and beyond.
It’s so interesting to see what they have down there, sucks that we won’t ever see a lot of it up here because it’s not worth the time to redo the packaging with french on it. I’m sure your eyes need a break after going through all this and posting! Thanks for all the hard work!
When you are taking pics of the products, do you take two pictures, one of the product and one of the price and then combine them or just take one and crop?
It take two photos and combine them. The longest part is entering the price tag information so that it goes in my price history database though!
I really appreciate all your efforts, especially the price history! Thanks!!
Ya, once again thanks for all your hard work. It seems strange that a company as big as Costco doesn’t realize that customers actually want to see whats on sale before they go and we have to rely on people like you to fill that gap. I have your yearly membership that I got on discount and I almost feel like it’s too cheap!
