Weekend Update! – Costco Sale Items for July 10-12, 2020 for BC, AB, MB, SK

I hope everyone is having a good week! It has been a really busy day today and this morning I took the kids to the zoo with some of their friends. This was the first time I have been to a Costco in the afternoon for a long time – but the post is a little late today. The store was not too busy – no lineups at the cashier or to get in. They sold sneeze guards, 4L pump bottles of Hand Sanitizer, facemasks, face shields and cloth facemasks near the front of the store.
In preparation for the blog re-design, we are starting to make some structural changes on the blog now. I’ve noticed that the top menu bar has changed on Desktop. Sorry for the minor inconveniences. I’ll be working on fixing and updating things as they happen!
I wanted to give everyone an update on the redesign of the blog since there has been quite a lot of progress! We’ve hired our developer & designer and have started work on the project. We are starting work on the new product search functionality, so you will be able to look up historical pricing and sales. After that we will be working on the redesign of the blog. Our goal is to get everything implemented in three months. I’m excited that this project is finally moving ahead and to see some increased functionality and navigability in the new format.
That being said, if you are looking to help me help support this new website upgrade, I have re-opened the “FOUNDERS” discount for the Early Access to the blog. A quick reminder that if you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, you should be self-isolating for 14 days. Lysol wipes aren’t always in stock in the warehouse, or online at Costco.ca. An employee at my local warehouse told me they only get a shipment about once a week if they’re lucky, and they sell out very quickly. If you are fortunate enough to find Lysol wipes in the warehouse, there’s a limit of one package per membership.
There are a few more warehouse deals valid through 07/12, like Kirkland sheets (Queen and King). I wear glasses so I’m going to stock up on the Optico lens cleaning wipes that are on sale this weekend. To view all warehouse deals, go to https://www.costco.ca/warehouse-hot-buys.html
Thanks for all your work! Just a note for Saskatoon readers. A number of the items on this blog are consistently not available here. I’ve begun calling the store before my trip to determine whether they have the items I want in stock. Our of 5 items on my list this week they only had two. I still really appreciate the blog – just wished our local stores could expand their stock.
Most Costco stores are not large enough for all the items they are trying to sell. When new items come in something has to be dropped to make room. There’s never going to be enough space for all the items Costco carries and so individual stores have to constantly decide what they’re not going to carry. Not a job I’d want!
Any idea how much the Lysol wipes are?
In store they are $19.99 for a package of 6 containers, each container has 100 wipes. Costco online sells the same size package for $22.99.
