USA (Washington) Costco Sales Items March 15 -April 8, 2018
Hi Everyone,
I missed last month’s USA Costco post since I was away on holiday, so I thought I would start it up again 🙂 It was a good time to fill up on gas! I paid $2.79 per gallon at the Costco gas station which I think is around $1.00 a litre in Canadian Dollars. That is a big savings over the $151.9 per litre I saw at the pump just today! I was a good time to bring down some Jerry Cans.
You can save some extra money by buying poultry and dairy products in the US. You will find them much cheaper in the US since they do not have the same supply management as we have in Canada.
Kirkland Diapers and Diaper Genie refills are on sale down there – although I haven’t done the conversion to see if it is cheaper in the US.
I picked up some Kellogg’s Raisin Bran (for my father who prefers it over Post Raisin Bran) some Otis Spunkmeyer Chocolate Chunk Cookie Dough, some Blue Diamond Smokehouse Almonds and some Salt and Pepper Pistachios. Also Cheese-Its.

I have received a couple E-mails from people who have received a letter from Loblaws asking for more information to prove their identity. I would recommend never sending a copy of your Driver’s License to any third party. You can use a Utility Bill which does not contain any more information that you provided Loblaws. do you know if they sell gas cans at the bellingham costco? I know i can get them at other stores in the area just deciding which to go to first.

FYI the price plaquards on the Shark vacuums are on the wrong models (reversed). The Shark Duo Lift-Away Speed is excellent and $199 is an amazing price.

Costco USA takes Any VISA credit card. They also accept the Canadian Costco Capital One MasterCard.

We were in the Bellingham store recently. They take any kind of Visa now, no more American Express.

Don’t forget to add at least 33% currency consumer exchange rate (ignore the Bank of Canada rate) in your calculations before buying anything in the USA even if you have US currency on hand.
