Costco Flyer & Costco Sale Items for Apr 13-19, 2020, for BC, AB, SK, MB

Location: Langley, BC Costco Warehouse

Hi Everyone,

There were tons of items on sale today and the post took much longer than usual.  Also, since both kids are home I have to wait until we put our youngest down for a nap before I have time to edit the pictures.  So the Monday posts for subscribers might be a little later than usual for the time being.

This morning I arrived at Langley at 7:37AM.  The store opened at 7:40AM and I was in the store by 7:50AM.

It looks like the handout coupons are going to be the same until May 3, 2020, but last year, if we go by last year, there was an organic food sale.  You can see what was on sale last year at the following link in case you are interested: https://cocowest.ca/2019/04/costco-west-sale-items-for-apr-22-2019-apr-28-2019-for-bc-alberta-manitoba-saskatchewan/

I hope everyone is making it through self-isolation OK.  The weather is getting much nicer here in BC and we have been lucky to spend lots of time outside in our backyard.  Easter Dinner went great yesterday.  I cooked the 13 pound turkey that I bought for $10.00 on Boxing Day at Costco with some stuffing, mashed potatoes, carrots and cauliflower, portioned it all in to takeout containers and my parents picked it up and delivered it to the rest of our families and in-laws.  I was almost tempted when I saw the turkeys were $30.00 off today, but we are running out of freezer room.  The cheapest turkey I saw by the time I got there was $9.00

    • The cauliflower is pretty good. They’re vacuum cooked, so they’re light and crispy. It’s lightly salted but not overly salty. They’re a great healthy snack or could sprinkle some on top of salad.

    • You do know this is not an official Costco website nor does the person posting work at Costco and is not selling anything. The best thing to do is to call (with a phone) your local store and ask regarding the availability of a certain item.

  1. It was my understanding that the early opening was for seniors and disabled individuals only. Is Costco not enforcing this? Are they letting in anyone who is coming early to Costco?

    • I actually stopped going during senior hours. I also noted that other handicap seniors have also stopped going. I could tell by all the handicap stalls open now. This is for two reasons. First the lineups are actually longer during these special hours and I see that many people who are obviously not seniors or handicap were lining up. Really handicap people cannot line up and shop. I know because I have mobility issues. Our Costco did not appear to be enforcing these restrictions. So lots of those seniors and handicap individuals started shopping later – myself included. Really disappointing- I did complain. I will try again this week and see if things have changed at m6 Alberta store.

  2. Morning! So the Langley store opens at 8am ? Could you clarify that before I head that way.
    Are all Costco’s open at 8am ?

    • Langford opens Mon Fri Sat Sun 9am
Tues Weds Thurs 8am for seniors, 9am otherwise.
If buildings are ready with forklifts off the floor before the scheduled open time, they may open early. Langford opened at 830am Monday morning. I’m curious what Langley’s scheduled opening time was, because before 8am is very early.

      • Langley is same times….9 am but tues, wed and thurs 8am for seniors….however, they will open early if they have enough employees there early and ready to go…..so technically the posted times (as no guarantee it will be early) but they will open if enough staff there early.

  3. Hi, Can Costco accept return goods now, of csourse not toilet paper.
Please let me know as soon as possible, thanks
