Costco Flyer & Costco Sale Items for Apr 6-12, 2020, for BC, AB, SK, MB
Location: Langley, BC Costco Warehouse
Hi Everyone,
Thanks to everyone for their well wishes last week. I’m pretty much fully recovered from my ER visit last week! Let me tell you I long for the days when I could actually take some time to recover after a surgery. Everything is definitely more challenging with the two little ones around 🙂
On a completely different note… I picked up the Wahl Deluxe Haircutting Kit today… Is this what it has come down to? Should I let my wife near my hair? Will I be able to ignore her laughter? Stay tuned….
Some people have asked about the Garden Centre this year. Unfortunately, this year the garden centre has been cancelled due to the Covid-19 Outbreak. Instead, Costco will be bringing in small batches of garden items into the store. I’ll take pictures of them each week.
Also, if you are wondering about the Lifetime shed sale, it usually goes on sale on the last week of April or the first week of March.
There were more items than normal for sale on this week and since it is my first day away from painkillers, I’m just going to leave the pictures here 🙂
Happy Shopping!

Hi everyone. I’d like to clarify some of the misinformation and outdated info that’s being posted.
At the majority of Costco locations, things have changed immensely over the last several weeks. While in the past you were able to enter with minimal waits, within an hour before closing or mid-afternoons, let me tell you that’s no longer the norm. Customers are lining up to the side of the warehouse hoping to shop even close to closing. It’s unfortunate, but we have to turn people away. Line-ups are not expected to dissipate anytime soon. Please be mindful the line-ups are all day now. There’s no ideal time to shop.
@faihai and @Diane, I think Costco’s latest decision to allow healthcare workers (presumably clerical and and administrative staff) to have priority access over others including seniors and the disabled is unjust. Both groups should be able to jump the queue or have certain days and hours for health care workers.
I noticed the price discrepancy too with the Bounty. Normally, the flyer (hand-out) price should be the correct price. Otherwise, I believe Costco subscribes to the Coding Standards of Practice and they have to give you a discount of $10, assuming it’s in stock.
We went to Costco today and saw the line-up. We asked approximately how long people have been waiting. We were told when the line-up is behind the building it will be about an hour or more.
We ended up entering the store through the exit and went straight to the membership counter. We surrendered our membership and received a refund. The manager on duty sympathized with us. We explained this has nothing to do with Costco directly but we’re not young anymore and we can’t endure standing for an hour and risk our healthy. Shopping at Costco under these circumstances, conditions and paying for a membership isn’t practical for us. We will use our membership money to shop elsewhere. The manager understood and said they’ve had several cancellations today alone and felt things will become worse if shoppers don’t develop some restraint.
As we exited, I asked Henry, my husband to drive around to the back of the warehouse to see where the line-up started. It was an enormous line, barely moving almost completely around the store. We saw some parents with children playing to the side of the line to pass the time.
Good bye Costco. We will surely be back, let’s hope it will be sooner than later.
Sorry to hear about your experience, but this is how things are. With this virus situation, it’s resulting in many unusual or unpredictable situations.
Anna, it’s actually called the Willingdon location. The proper names of all the locations are listed on Costco’s website.
Lysol wipes are a high demand item and there is a shortage like with bleach, toilet paper and alcohol.
The Willingdon location is the largest in Canada I was told. Customers start lining up at 6 AM in the cold even though doors open around 9 depending on the day.
I have been going to Still Creek about once a week (usually Mondays) in search of Lysol wipes and hand sanitizer. I have nothing at home. Any idea when this arrives to the store? Have you guys had any luck with picking some up? Thanks!
Hi
If you go late at Costco pretty much all items are empty.
We went late the organic milk are empty. Eggs and bread are empty too.
We need to go back the next day. I don’t mind but has much as possible we just want to stay home for safety.
It says on the flipp app that lysol wipes is also available and on sale. Are they available on all stores though like Langley? Coz it didn’t show on the blog. Thanks!
Does anyone know the price of the kirkland large black tool box? It shows as $899 online but says a cash and carry price may be available at the warehouse.
Please keep in mind that if yo have the product number you can phone your local Costco which goes to the upper office area and they can tell you the price and quantity at each location.
Thank you so much for this, as always. I am trying to cut my Costco trips to once a month or so. Filling in with a small, local grocery store. I am going to attempt Costco tomorrow morning for the special senior’s time. And this post will save me a lot of time so I can get out of the store and let someone else in! Stay safe!
My husband tried the seniors time in the Comox store last Thursday. He was there at 7:30 and the lineup was already the whole length of the warehouse and down the back fence. Many items were already gone before he reached the storefront. We find it slower after six p.m. Good luck.
Has anyone found certain times and days that are quiet at Costco (Victoria) ? I’ve got asthma, but I’m not a senior. So looking for quiet time to go. Thanks!
The stores will be open from 8 to 9 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday for members ages 60 and older, and for those with physical impairments, the company said in its statement.
I think your asthma would qualify as an impairment? Perhaps call the local store and ask.
Agreed with the other reply… auto immune issues such as asthma should qualify you as high risk, (along with seniors) you may need to show your puffer upon entrance, but I’d call your store and discuss with the manager.
there is a local facebook group for the Langford costco that is fairly active, (search costco langford updates) people are regularly posting the board that lists items out of stock, and line updates during the day… (most people say later in the day mid afternoon is not too busy mornings can be chaos)
When I was up at the Victoria Costco last week, they said mornings were the busiest time for them. They have everything set up very well, outside lineups, cleaning of the cart before they give it to you, limited people in the store. checkouts well monitored and spaced out. So being busy just means waiting outside longer to get it. I waited for about 25 to 30 minutes, but everyone is six feet or more apart.
In Langley, 1 hour prior to closing on a weekdays have been relatively quiet. I have heard though, if you need the high demand items (i.e. toilet paper/lysol wipes) you need to get their early.

Anyone notice premier protein on sale this week? It’s on sale on the websire, does that usually line up with in-store sales ?
Does anyone know if there are any pressure washers in the warehouse yet? My husband is looking bored and I’m trying to fill his day for him.

Take care.
the depends pics have blinded me.
I see that the Bounty paper towel has a coupon for $4.80 off, but the in-store tag says $4 off?!
Thanks Tynan for your continuous posting.
Does anyone know what is warehouse price for Sonos Beam?
Online price is $409.99 until April 23. I believe Black Friday and end of year warehouse price was $369.99

I had no idea that Costco gave out rain-checks until I saw your picture!
It depends on what items are sold out. Not all items qualify for rain-checks

Looking for weights (exercise) please. Any idea how I cN order from Costco?
Anyone know if they are doing price adjustments at this time?
Yes they are – did it last week at the Richmond location
Yes, their return policy and price adjustments have not changed. (other than for high demand items like Lysol wipes and toilet paper)
Has anyone seen the Torin floor jack at the Richmond location?
It says on the flipp app that lysol wipes is also available and on sale. Are they available on all stores though like Langley? Coz it didn’t show on the blog. Thanks!
Thanks very much, as always! I appreciate all of your hard work!
Thank you for all your hard work and happy to hear you’re on the mend. Out of curiosity, would you provide an update regarding the new website?
Good question!
Does anyone know the price of the kirkland large black tool box? It shows as $899 online but says a cash and carry price may be available at the warehouse.
Pretty sure its 749.99 in store
Yes, Brady is correct, $749.99, we’ve been watching them for a sale. Does anyone know if they go on sale?
When they first started carrying the large stand-up tool boxes, they did go on sale; often. I haven’t seen them go on sale for a few years now.
Thank goodness I bought mine when I did. Although I do need another one…..
Please keep in mind that if yo have the product number you can phone your local Costco which goes to the upper office area and they can tell you the price and quantity at each location.
Glad you felt well enough to go out today. Thanks for letting us know about all the great sales.
stay safe ! thanks for all you do
Glad you’re fully recovered, and thanks for these posts. It helps us all to see if we need to drop by Costco or not!
I will be going to-morrow early in the morning because to-morrow is a senior day.
I have whole list to buy

Stay safe and healthy everyone.

Yvonne, if you check the website, it shows this:

I did not know about this group, thank you Shannon!
Thanks Shannon, I will look up the group!
I have found those early morning hours are packed (Courtenay), I have asked a worker there, and he advised me 2 pm to 3 pm, are usually quiet.
In my opinion quiet time is 1 hour before closing time, specially on Sunday.
Exactly! One hour before closing, especially Sundays or Wednesdays.
Dinner time for Victoria is usually the quietest. My parents have gone early for the 60+ crowd and there were tons of people in line.
I went during “seniors” time, as I am also immunocompromised and no one said a word.
I found more people lining up for the early shopping so went early afternoon….no lineup .
Most ‘hot’ items are sold out within an hour or so after opening. Thus, we see long lines in the morning.
When I was up at the Victoria Costco last week, they said mornings were the busiest time for them. they have senior hour Tuesday and Thursday all costcos 8am to 9am.
I don’t know if you noticed, the flyer is from 6 April to 3 May. We don’t need to rush to get the flyer items. Yay!
I noticed that too!! Makes so much sense, especially for this period of time when we need to limit how often we shop.
very good point!
