Costco Flyer & Costco Sale Items for Nov 9-15, 2020, for BC, AB, SK, MB
Location: Willingdon, BC Costco Warehouse
Hi Everyone!
Well everyone, I hope everyone is doing well. We have been spending every waking minute not entertaining the kids, unpacking boxes, but it has paid off and we can now finally park the cars in the garage. It looks like the second wave of the pandemic is rising again and I’ll be taking it day by day to see if I’ll be skipping any posts.
There were lots of great sales this week, I bought a bunch of new laundry baskets, a trickle charger for our car (we took insurance off since we only need one car right now) some night lights, an accent mat, a rubber entrance mat, a rubber exercise mat, and some 3 sprouts storage baskets. I also really like the Kohler Garbage bin that I got last week – it fits the Kirkland kitchen bags perfectly and looks great in the kitchen!
I’m going back to unpacking. Have a great day everyone!
I’m shocked nobody mentioned this earlier. There’s a small sign at Costco by their out of stock items stating as of Nov 16, masks will be mandatory and must be worn covering their eyes and mouth. Children under 2 are the exception. For those that have a medical reason preventing them from wearing a mask, they must wear a shield. Those that don’t comply won’t be allowed access to the warehouse.
Agreed, but also appreciate the service as it keeps me home if I don’t see anything on sale that’s on my list for stocking up on. So in my books, the one here helps many to avoid unnecessary contact. My 2 cents.
The Richmond Costco is the busiest one in North America according to their employees. North America!
Keeping things in stock is always a problem and anything pandemic related? good luck.
Unfortunately, for price increases, those are set by the manufacturer as they are trying to keep up so buyers are at their mercy for supplies. Manufacturers are running 24/7 and now that we’re into the second wave as well as flu season, people are back to panic buying. Even if Costco were to set limits on many more items, people will still bring other members of their household with memberships to buy what they can.
As much as I love this blog and Costco, please don’t risk yourself to make shopping for the rest of us easier. Everyone needs to do their part and stay in lock down for the next two weeks like Dr. Henry said. Be safe everyone.
Effectively November 16, you must wear a mask covering your nose and mouth. If you’re unable to wear a mask you must wear a faceshield. Children under age 2 are exempt.
Also many items out of stock at Willingdon including paper products, Hellman’s mayo, and Ninja fryer.
The Langley location seems to be pretty consistent with giving price match refunds back 3 months, without a receipt! They have always been very helpful looking up past purchases for me, but it seems like other stores are not so helpful. Strange for the locations to have such different policies…
Just a question. I received an email saying my subscription will expire in December. I was of the understanding when I signed up initially that it was a lifetime subscription for the first people that signed up.
Hi Ronnalee, I’m sorry about the confusion. The early access was always an annual subscription. The benefit for signing up early is that you are guaranteed the $19.97 annual rate as long as you continue to renew. Please feel free to E-mail me at info@cocowest.ca with any further concerns.
I’m in Winnipeg and have just got this blog today Wednesday; my daughters live on next street and got theirs on Monday: I’m just wondering why they get 2 extra days. A lot of specials are sold out before I get to the store
Thank you
Hi Bonnie, The newsletter came out 24 hours later than usual due to a programming bug. Sorry for the inconvenience. Costco does restock every day – if there are items that are sold out, if you return in the morning, you will most likely find what you are looking for.
Price protection at Metro Vancouver Costcos is now 30 days — firm. It used to be longer in the past. Looks like the Island has been the longest adjustment policy.
You can buy any item at the new lower price and return the higher priced item. Beware though, Costco does keeps track of both your returns and price adjustments.
Just to clarify not to give people false hope. There’s no across the board “rain check” policy at Costco. The store manager explained to me that it all depends on the manufacturer. Sometimes they will offer it, but *most* of the time they will not.
As a guide though, you’re** likely** to get a “rain check” for items in their **coupon** flyer. Again, there’s no guarantee. There’s no staff “conspiracy”. If they can, they will grant you a rain check but it’s becoming rarer these days.
And yeah, Richmond has some of the tightest and most stringent policies of any Costco. It also seems to have the most unhappy shoppers too.
I found in Edmonton area it’s 30 days for “coupon” ie price match to sale. That being said, I wish they would just extend to 60 or 90 days because you could just be a pain in their ass, by buying the product on sale and returning with the original receipt anyway. In fact, once I didn’t have the receipt they told me to do that–that their system wouldn’t pick up the purchase from 5 minutes ago, and they would look up the original purchase and refund that price. ALSO, YES….. when are baby wipes going on sale again?? I’m on my last pack!!! lol
I don’t think I’ve ever been to the Richmond Costco, but it seems like I’m always hearing stories about the Richmond Costco being a zoo. Port Coquitlam usually has everything in stock, but it’s a bit of a drive. Downtown Vancouver is closer, but they have a different assortment of items. You might have better luck at one of the Burnaby Costco stores.
Unless they have changed in the last few months, Nanaimo allows up to 45 days to get the difference back when something goes on sale, and its been that way for years there.
We returned minutes ago from the Richmond Costco. I don’t think we’ll shop there again.
Many of the items posted here, both as a paid member Early Access member and items in the coupon were out of stock. Even the dairy and produce section had most items out of stock. We checked with the floor supervisor and every other Costco in Metro Vancouver had the items we asked them to check.
What’s your favorite or worst Costco you have shopped at?
I’m curious about the fresh Christmas wreaths.
I’m in total shock at the price.
Last year they were $19.99 full price and this year they have jumped to $29.99.
Any idea why?
Hi Nav, there is no set policy – employees are there to keep you satisfied. That being said, I’ve never had a problem price matching anything within 30 days, but if you want to be sure, try keeping it to within 14 days.
I was fortunate to be able to buy a box of Kirkland nitrile exam gloves at the downtown Vancouver warehouse this past weekend (Item #980360). Thanks to the pandemic, these gloves sell out quickly when they’re in stock. I was surprised to discover the price had been increased from $17.99 to $24.99. Is the $7 price increase only in Vancouver, or all warehouses?
RE: 1440981 SHARK ROCKET DELUXE PRO SELF CLEANING BRUSH EXP. 2020-11-22 $159.99
Any feedback on the SHARK vacuum ?

Has anyone seen those sylvania light bulbs at other locations other than Willingdon?
That’s no excuse to have some of the rudest Costco staff in North America, although the Brighton location comes close.
I will need to get some of that motor oil.
Thank you for the has work you put into these posts, It has saved me lots of time and money.
Wow I felt like I was scrolling forever! Thank you!!!
Thank you as always. Much appreciated. Keep safe.

Do you happen to know when the PlayStation plus cards go on sale?

re: 51454 ATLANTIC SALMON FILLET RWA $4.00 OFF Per Package From November 9th to November 15th 2020
I was wondering what “RWA’ meant, but have found out it means “Raised Without Antibiotics”, and is not a misspelling of “RAW”. 🙂
Anyone know when Kirkland Wipes are expected to go on sale?
Thank you! Just wondering is Costco open today? I can’t find the holiday info.
Hi Jennifer, it is open in all the western provinces today
Appreciate all your work you do!

The price protection period is also 45 days in Victoria. Note that if the item isn’t in stock any more, they can’t do the price protection.

depends on who u get @willingdon Costco. They can refused to price match even under 14 days. It used to be to satisfy customers but not anymore.

?
Does anyone know if Costco’s in Alberta are open tomorrow?
Always very appreciative of your website! Thanks again, for all your hard work and time!

They can give you a raincheck voucher for the sale price if it’s out of stock. That’s what happened to me previously at the Kelowna warehouse.
Do you have any guesses on when baby wipes will be on sale? I was expecting a fall sale but still none. Thanks!
What a frustrating experience.

Is the kitchen aid mixer comes with the pasta machine?
Do you want know?
Thanks in advance, stay safe and healthy.
I believe the pasta machine is a separate attachment

What section are those smoothie cups in?
It was near the orange juice section.
Barbara, the gloves went up the same amount in Victoria too.
Thank you, as always. Your priority is the health of yourself and that of your family!
Thank you!
One question, how long after a purchase can you take your receipt back to get the difference if something goes on sale?
