Costco Flyer & Costco Sale Items for Apr 20-26, 2020, for BC, AB, SK, MB

Location: Langley, BC Costco Warehouse

Hi Everyone,

Today I arrived at Costco nice and early at 7:04AM.  I didn’t want to end up stuck in line and I have to get back home to watch the kids so my wife can get some work done!  I was probably a little over zealous because the line was not long and did not really start getting long until about 7:20AM.  The doors opened at 7:47AM and I was in the store by 7:50AM as part of the first round of people entering the store.

A couple of new things on sale this week are the Lifetime Picnic Table, the heavy duty folding wagon, the Timber Ridge Director’s Chair with Side table, the Arumi Vegetable Pancakes, Manuka Honey, the Double Sided Playmats (new pattern) and Squishmellows.

If you are interested in buying the Lifetime 8X10 shed, I expect it to go on sale next week (or the week after).  Last year it was $250.00 off and it will be the only time it goes on sale.  Check out last year’s sale here (the picture is near the end):  https://cocowest.ca/2019/04/costco-west-sale-items-for-apr-29-2019-may-05-2019-for-bc-alberta-manitoba-saskatchewan/

I need to take care of the kids while my wife gets some work done now!  I’ll see you on Wednesday for the book aisle update!

  1. What’s this at Saskatoon market Costco? 12 inch hydrangea planter
was $12.99 on Wednesday and next day Thursday same plant for
$14.99 . Is this not an all week special till Sunday ???

  2. @Anna, thank you so much. I’ll keep checking with my local pharmacies. All they have for now are swabs which are ok. I really appreciate the offer. God bless!

  3. Hi has anyone in Vancouver/Richmond seen the Quickjack for sale? I’ve never seen it in store but have read people buying on RFD.

  4. I bought the Dr. Praeger’s veggie burgers last week and when I opened the package was shocked at how thin they are (about 1cm). Much smaller than they look on the package.

I haven’t tried them, but my daughter said they were pretty good.

  5. The Lysol wipes is a hit and miss and from what I’ve found its available first thing in the morning before they open, based on what they get for shipment. I was at the Beacon Hill location in Calgary Mon morning after the Easter long weekend, I was maybe the 25th person in line, when I came in its right at the front entrance near the tvs and there was only 1 pallet, so maybe 20-25 of the 6 pack cases. They were literally gone in less than 10min.
I went back the following Mon morning first thing before they opened, no wipes available.

There is no yeast to be found anywhere in any grocery store. Not sure why Fleischmann Yeast said in the news beginning of April that they are working 24hrs/7days a week and the they have caught up with demand….where is the yeast then? lol. I would suggest making your own yeast (several online tutorials everywhere). I heard the yeast supply is 1-2 mos out 🙁

    • I have found Fleischmann yeast in small specialty local stores in Edmonton, in 1 and 2 pound packs. In Calgary, check with the Italian Centre store.

      • Jane thank u so much. I went to the Italian Centre today in the SW and they had yeast. Lots of packages no limit. 1lb for $5.49. I bought 2 lol

  6. I haven’t seen pictures of the outdoor play structures in store (and haven’t been inside a Costco for over a month now)
Are they carrying them this year? If so, when do they go on sale?

  7. you do a lot already – and I am very appreciative. If you had a moment while updating the books section – could you also post what toys are out at this time?

  8. Thanks for going out and taking these picture .. in these times of self distancing your efforts are so much appreciated!

  9. Thanks very much for the Weekly effort in postI got! May I ask which section can I find the Old town floating gallery frames?

  10. Has anyone seen the picture frames anywhere in Edmonton or surrounding area? I was at the 50th street one last week and did not see any!

    • He mentioned a couple of weeks ago that it should be soon, but things might be changed up because of the extended dates on current sales.

  11. Hi!
I’m confused as to why you are getting into the stores so early? Have they changed opening times? In Edmonton all the stores state 0900hrs is opening yet you describe it as much earlier. Colour me confused.
    Thank you,
    Diana

  12. Thank you Cocoa West for your posts! I love browsing through every week. This is a great service you provide. Your efforts are very much appreciated! Stay safe, stay well.

  13. Thank you again for all your posts. As seniors, we really appreciate it. Was waiting for the electric power washer and saw your photo of it on the weekend. Went early yesterday and really stocked up. Shouldn’t have to go for a couple months now. There was no Lysol wipes, but they had plenty of Bleach. FYI, we got in line at 8:30 and we were in by 8:50. The person at the door said they opened at 8:15 am that morning. He said that varies depending on whether the staff has everything ready. This is the Langford store.

  14. Thanks very much for all your hard work, as always! I’m going to try going tomorrow after staying away for 2 months!

  15. Does anyone have any strategies for diabetics or those who need to use isopropyl alcohol as part of their medical protocol and how or where to purchase it? Showcase online has some but at outrageous (gouging) prices.

    • I actually saw them at Langley Costco last Friday! A small pallet towards the back of the store. If you are local, I could grab one for you if I see one next time I do.

    • Ask at your pharmacy (the actual Pharmacist, etc) both times I’ve asked when purchasing meds it has magically been available from a hidden spot behind the counter. Still over $8 a bottle but you know the quality you are getting

  16. Even though I have paid for the Early Access Membership I can never see the pictures and items posted until they are available to everyone on the next day.

    • Hi Jim,

Thanks for subscribing and sorry to hear you are having problems accessing the pictures. You need to log in with your email and password before the pictures are visible to you. You can log into the website at the following address: https://cocowest.ca/cocologin/

Once you have logged in, the pictures will be visible!

Let me know if you are still having problems!

      • When they have Hand Sanitizer, wipes, etc., where in the store do you find them? I work as an essential service worker and literally have not had any wipes or hand sanitizer, personally, since this started. It has made my life more complicated……it would be nice if, when I do go to Costco early, I know where they are in the store — if they have any that is.

        • Hi Annette, when they have hand sanitizer or Lysol Wipes, I have always seen it right at the entrance. There is usually an employee handing them out as you walk into the store, where the jewelry section is. If it is in stock you can’t miss it. Last Friday, they had isopropyl alcohol and it was located in the back of the store on a pallet next to the toilet paper.

          • Thank you so much for this and all you do! It really makes life less stressful and people’s comments provide a sense of camaraderie. Big hugs all around.

    • Last Friday I must have just missed then when I got in at 8:30, I saw a couple of people with them in the carts. I wonder if they just get random shipments and then put it out first thing in the morning.

  17. Thank you again! Your posts are very helpful at this time! A few of the sale items are on sale at Costco.ca at the same time, so it reminded me to order a few things. Definitely not as handy to order – grocery items need a minimum of $75 or you pay delivery fees and the online prices are higher than instore.

  18. Thank you ! I began thinking of how many pictures you take and the patience to upload! Great help for me with my meal and other stuff planning. Stay safe.
