Costco Flyer & Costco Sale Items for Apr 27 – May 3, 2020, for BC, AB, SK, MB

Location: Langley, BC Costco Warehouse

Hi Everyone,

I hope everyone is doing well and I hope that people are slowly finding themselves a new routine.  Today Costco was opened up at 8:05AM.  I was inside promptly at 8:10AM and was in line at around 7:20AM.

I have noticed a large increase in the traffic on Tuesday mornings lately now that it seems everyone is trying to access the blog at the sale time!  Unfortunately, this means that it may take longer to download all the pictures than normal.  I’ve temporarily reduced the size of the pictures to help with this and I hope this will make a little bit of a different.  In other exciting news, we have just chosen our website developer and will be adding some new features and re-designing the blog which will hopefully make the blog faster too!  I’ll keep you updated with the changes as they come along 🙂

Some of you may know that we cancelled out trip to Disneyland early in March and I was quite surprised when I logged into to my credit card statement and saw that we received a refund for our stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Anaheim Theme Park Entrance!  When I last spoke to them, I thought I was just receiving a credit!  Anyways, I really appreciated the gesture since I don’t really know when we will be able to make it back.

This week, the 8X10 Lifetime shed was on sale.  It is on sale for one week a year, so if you are interested in purchasing one, make sure you get it this week.  Bring a truck.  I haven’t had much free time lately, since watching the two kids is an all day kind of job, but, I was able to take pictures of the seasonal aisle last Friday.  I just haven’t had any time to post them this weekend.  I’ll be trying to get these pictures up on Wednesday for a seasonal aisle post!  Also, I still haven’t had my Covid haircut yet, but there were lots of Wahl hair-cutting kits available today.

  1. Re: Ove pendant starburst light fixture at $69.97 Dear Langley shoppers, is there still inventory? I live in Richmond and hesitate to drive out if it’s sold out. TIA if you happen to know the answer.

  2. Found some at the Safeway Manning Road. They had a few bottles left. Thanks Hanna!!

And weird, the Costco on 50th Street did not have the Tide Laundry Detergent or the Arumi Veggie Pancakes.

  3. I’ve been told by an employee of Costco, masks will be required to shop starting this coming Monday. Need to filter and cover mouth and nose. Just wanted to forewarn you all. Be safe out there!

    • Tynan: I know you don’t owe anyone a reply, but it would’ve been nice.. you did reply to others upthread.. 🙁

  4. Thanks again for your work doing this. The pics loaded really fast today as you mentioned making them smaller, however I noticed no downside at all to these pics. This may always work.

    • sometimes the smaller resolution pictures are harder to read the info on the packages as well as the expiry date of sale

but if it helps most, I can live with it

      Thank you for your blog!

  5. Thanks for the blog. Went to Regina this am and no problems. Had everything including chlorox wipes. Unfortunately blog arrived just as I was packing everything in the car. Hour ahead of BC I guess. Thanks again though.

  6. Thank you for the tips about the shed. I would have only ever been able to buy it in the weekend, so I bought it 2 weeks ago anticipating the sale, went yesterday during my lunch break to get the price match as they still had it in stock being the first day of the sale. Saved me about $275.

  7. I thought I was getting there early today, got to the Costco Beacon in Calgary….doors were wide open when I got there at 815a, no line up and not at all busy inside. I think maybe because it was a Monday and it was nice and sunny outside. Was in and out in 20min. No Lysol wipes which I was on the hunt for the last 3weeks, but plenty of TP and paper towels (the ones that are on sale). Lots of the Mr Clean jug thats on sale, and 3pack of Clorox Bleach which I picked up.

Im going to give up looking for the hand sanitizer (One Step 1L), its impossible to find. Stay safe everyone.

  8. Just an FYI. Huge Lineup this morning at the Surrey Costco at 6:30 AM.

For those that were asking, Willingdon Costco yesterday morning had rubbing alcohol and hydrodgen peroxide. Some Charmin too. Suprrisingly, they were all out of liquid soup…the one that’s on sale.
